Latest Steam announcements

  • Minor Update v1.1.382 - 23 September 2026

A couple of Steam Deck touch fixes. Fixed Fixed a bug on Steam Deck (touch input) where tapping Undo could trigger a second, unintended undo, and where tapping the stock could sometimes flip the waste card and immediately flip it back. Fixed (touch input) dragging and tapping being slightly offset near the screen edges when the Fisheye effect is on, cards should now sit exactly under your finger everywhere on the board.

  • Forty Thieves have come to Solitaire Deck - 23 September 2026

Added Forty Thieves: a new two-deck variant with ten tableau columns and eight foundations. 40 thieves with zero honor among them, single-card moves only, no run-building allowed. Fixed Corrected the supermove capacity rule when dropping a run onto an empty column in FreeCell and Forty Thieves. The legal amount is now calculated correctly. If you drag more cards than the column can legally hold, the extra cards now stay behind instead of moving with the rest.

  • Minor Update v1.0.377 - 9 September 2026

A fix for Spider, thanks to mistakenfornone for finding and reporting it. Fixed Fixed a Spider bug where you could grab cards mid-animation while a completed run was moving to the foundation, leaving a stranded partial stack that made the game unwinnable. This also fixes the same problem during auto-moves and undo in all variants. Cheers! .chris

  • Update v1.0.376 - A round of Steam Deck and progression fixes. - 9 August 2026

Fixed Long tableau columns now compress to stay on screen instead of overrunning the cards below or running off the bottom of the screen. Thanks to TBCJames and mistakenfornone for reporting this. On a shared Steam Deck, each Steam account now keeps its own saves, stats, and Museum unlocks. Previously a second account on the same device could pick up another account's progress. Fixed the controller sometimes coming up unbound on Steam Deck at launch, which previously needed a manual layout reselect in Steam Input to sort out. You can now scroll through locked Museum items with a controller or keyboard, so you can see everything there is to unlock, not just what you've earned. Thanks Kara for highlighting this. Fixed sometimes dropping a card into a foundation or free cell when you were aiming at a tableau pile. Card drops now go to the nearest valid target. The DEMO build has also been…

  • Minor Update 1.0.371 - 1 August 2026

Fixed Removed the blurriness from the Fisheye background effect, it now stays crisp. The DEMO build has also been updated to latest. Cheers! .chris

  • Minor Update v1.0.367 - 31 July 2026

Fixed Fixed hardcoded English text on the win screen, it now shows translated text correctly.

  • Minor Update v1.0.366 - 31 July 2026

A small post-launch patch, a fix for non-Latin language rendering, thanks to TBCJames for finding and reporting this issue. Fixed Fixed Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Arabic text showing as tofu boxes when playing through Proton or Wine on Linux and macOS. The bundled fonts are now used correctly rather than falling back to the operating system's fonts. Thanks as always for the feedback, keep it coming. .chris

  • Solitaire Deck 1.0 is here - 29 July 2026

Added Classic Layout: a new setting that moves the control row (foundations, stock, waste, and free cells) above the tableau, the traditional solitaire arrangement. Off by default. This one was a request from vladimir76 and FlameableAmber. Card readability overlay: an optional badge in the corner of each face-up card showing its rank and suit, making the older historical decks far easier to read at a glance. New setting to show your lifetime win count on the in-game UI. Thanks to lowpoly who asked for this. Unlockable Museum Content Backgrounds (each with five variants) Waterfall: Green, Ice, Night, Molten, Amethyst Dynamic Sky: Day, Night, Sunrise, Sunset, Storm Plain Color: Black, Green, Burnt Orange, Dark Grey, Baby Blue Water Swirl: Blue, Maroon, Purple, Green, Orange Historical decks Jeu de Blason (France, 1686) Ye Witches Fortune Cards (USA, 1896) Exotic Birds (UK, 1906) Eclipse C…
