  • VR SETTINGS + CONTROLS UPDATE - 24 September 2026

This update attempts to address myriad VR performance issues that are related to the way default settings are handled as well as a method to reset saves to defaults in-game. Also Smooth Turning should work better. As usual, please let me know if you experience any regressions or if you have any requests for future updates.VR settings now default to "HIGH" with a Screen Percentage of %50, which should be more usable for lower end systems from the first play.VR Graphics Settings now have presets for LOW, MEDIUM, and HIGH that should make it easier to enable more playable settings for lower end systems. \Smooth Turning should work better now. I increased the threshold for when it can be activated.Fixed a bug where Quest 2 motion controllers could not activate teleport. The FP and VR settings menus now include a new section called "SAVE DATA" where graphics and progress settings can be reset…

  • MINOR SETTINGS AND UI UPDATE - 10 June 2026

A few random updates and bug fixes including...Added the graphics setting "SCREEN RESOLUTION OVERRIDE". I don't recommend changing this unless you have a mismatch between the displayed resolution and the actual resolution your monitor and GPU can output.Menus should navigate and scroll better when using a gamepad.Fixed a few random issues with materials.Security gate displays should behave more accurately. Please let me know if you experience any regressions or if you have any requests for future updates. I have a few on my list but I'm waiting for a stable version of 5.8 to arrive before introducing too many changes.

  • PC VR Controls Update - 6 May 2026

This is a quick update to the default VR controls to mirror more common conventions. I will continue refining the controls so please share any experiences or recommendations. Tested on Quest 2, Valve Index and HTC VIVE.Updated Controls:Thumbstick (L) = StrafeThumbstick (R) = Turn \, Teleport \Button A (R) = TorchI also added a "Height Offset" option for seated users that want to be at standing height while seated.

  • 4gb VRAM GPU Support + Misc. Bug Fixes - 2 May 2026

Added initial support for Windows PC GPUs with 4gb of VRAM. I've only been able to test this on a GTX 970. If you experience textures that appear blurry, let me know and also include your hardware specs.Fixed an issue with video sound sync.

  • Mac Bug Fix - 28 April 2026

Fixed an issue with PA sounds muting when using the elevator.
