Haven't really given ya'll an update for the DLC, huh? Well, The Pilot is near finished. I just need to finish adding tracks for it which will take a while. (Story is around 300-400 lines) Black Christmas hasn't been started & The Before is finished besides adding tracks (Around 150 lines) The Before will be revamped soon, because lore is outdated.Music Info:Tracks for The Pilot have been half completed. Tracks for Black Christmas have started. Tracks for The Before are finished. (All tracks for DLC will be put in base game OST)Blinded (Aka Chapter 1) has been fully revamped with all audio cues and more stories written. - Dialogue Update #2, Huge Revamp - 20 August 2026
So, I've been working on The Garden. The story is complete and it is around 1000 lines long. So much longer than the previous parts, around 5-10-fold. After I finished The Garden, I decided to work on some revamps for older chapters. I will post a beta branch for people who want to try the new update and completely revamped version of Chapter 1. Changed Characters, Dialogue Changes, & More. The music will be the same. This version will then become the normal version when I add back the music triggers. The Garden will also be the end of Singularity. Progress on other games & projects is the same. Also, the DLC will only include 3 chapters now, The Pilot, Black Christmas, & The Before. A chapter was removed and replaced with a free content update which is The Garden. Chapter 5: The Garden will be the only chapter with multiple parts to it, these parts will be released randomly throughout the year and may carry over to the next year, the number of parts I will make is unknown at this point in development but is estimated to be over 8. These parts will be around 100 to 125 lines of dialogue. It will follow Joseph's Daughter, no more will be revealed. Uhm, I went on vacation and wasn't fully able to work on the update. But I think that was actually lucky because I was able to think about mistakes I made with the story, the biggest one being pacing. The pacing was so fast you didn't have time to breathe or learn the characters. The dialogue was kind of annoying and took away the realism from the sci-fi aspect of it. So, I am working on it currently right now, it WILL upload between 6/16-6/20.Also, soon in the description of Singularity I will add links to side stories and all.
