• Patch notes for 1.1.1c15 - 12 July 2018

  Hello everyone, a new update is available. Here's the main points: - Support for more screen aspect ratios; - Tweaks to hard mode in 4.3 to allow more paths in the bottom section in hard mode; - Further smoothed the movement of the ghost indicator in the HUD; - Fixed a collider that could potentially kill you in 3.1 at the end of a flashback; - Fixed the collectible notifications not using the same color to fill while holding down the button as collectibles in-game; - Fixed an issue where level names were sometimes visible on locked levels in the level selection menu. • 'Steam Summer Sale' Update! - New Final Boss - 22 June 2018

  Hey everyone! As we mentioned a month ago, we decided to change a few things in the game after listening to feedback from the community. Precisely, we completely reworked the last boss and improved the way lore collectibles (yellow orbs) were presented in the game.   Hello everyone! Light Fall has been released for two weeks already. Since then, we have been monitoring the feedback, reactions and comments from the public and the press alike. While we are pleased with the overall reception and the reviews, it is apparent that some things need to be improved to be on the same level as the rest of the game. In this case, we feel like the last boss and the way the yellow collectibles are presented both need to be changed. Let’s talk about our next Light Fall update. • Playing 2D platformer Light Fall feels like learning to drive in a Ferrari - 12 March 2018

  The first thing that hits me when I boot up Light Fall is the music, a lovely medley of strings and bells. The second thing that hits me is a wall, swiftly followed by deadly pink crystals waiting at the bottom of the wall. I can only watch in horror as my cute inky character slides to his death, when I'm hit with an overdue, withering comment from the game's crotchety narrator: "The boy should be careful." And to think, I thought this game would be easy. In my defense, I had a good reason to think that: Light Fall is a 2D platformer where you create most of the platforms by deploying a cube directly beneath you. Like, anywhere. You can only place it up to four times without refreshing it by landing on solid ground, but I figured having four anywhere, anytime platforms would be more than enough to make traversal trivial.
