• Demo Update for Steam Next Fest! - 3 June 2026

  If you've been following The 9th Seraph socials, you may know that The 9th Seraph demo will be taking part in Steam Next Fest, so in preparation I took some time updating and improving a fair bit of it.Free Roam mode added for those who just want to experience the gameplay and freely explore the world so far without being tied down to the limitations of the story. Start with Bryn and Cerys in the party. Just start a new game and select Free Roam. Story mode is still available.Some dialogue tweaks, additions, etc.Two more enemies have been added: the Piracculus and the Albarbus.Updated character art, namely Bryn and Cerys's party images and the Alder of Serafina's dialogue portrait.Made changes to a few things in Bryn's dream.Tweaks made to parameters and values of items, weapons, armours, enemies, attacks, and so on.Different footstep sounds when walking on flowers as opposed to grass.P…

• v2 Patch Notes - 7 February 2026

  Hi! First off, thank you so much for checking out my demo! Just made a little update to fix a few things and make some other tweaks to the demo.Fixed a few trees in some Carmine Forest areas that previously lacked collision.Fixed a mistake in the dream sequence where different music would play after the future-telling part when speaking to "R".Added some loose crystals throughout the Serafina cave system to more clearly mark the pathway to help players during the section where you have to flee the cave under a time limit.Tweaked the value and names of some items.Removed some currently unused areas, graphics and event tags reserved for the full game. Just as a bit of a tidy-up of the game's files and to reduce the overall size.Other minor tweaks.If you come across any other problems, or if you just want to give feedback, please let me know!
