• Patch Notes for Update 1.0.2 - 18 July 2026

  Heya! Here comes a first small patch with some changes to the release version. Fixed an issue in "Powder Chambers" (World 5, Stage 18) where the player could repeatedly die due to spawning inside a barrel after death. Fixed a bug that would apply multiple actions to a single joypad button if joypad buttons were bound differently for players 1 and 2. Added some leeway for collisions close to the top and bottom edges of the screen to prevent the player from dying to projectiles and enemies outside of the screen. Slightly reduced the difficulty of worlds 4 and 5 by making some small adaptations to individual deadly levels and adding an additional guaranteed clock spawn or two.

  Heya dragon game enjoyers!The day has finally arrived: Dragon Dragon Fire Fire Deluxe is now available on Steam. You can buy and play the full game right now. It will take you through a total of 8 challenging worlds, which you can tackle either solo or with a friend in local co-op mode! There's also online leaderboards and Steam Achievements, and of course the infinite Score Attack mode with many new levels.Feel free to also join our Discord Community to share your highscores (or report bugs if you find any; feedback and suggestions are also always welcome)!A big thank you goes out to everyone who supported us during development. • Full Japanese, Portuguese, and German Translations Now Available - 24 June 2026

  Update: The playtest has finished and is now closed. Thanks to everyone who participated!Heya everyone,I'm happy to report that we're making good progress with the work on Dragon Dragon Fire Fire Deluxe! After some internal and closed testing, we now want to gather feedback from a larger audience, hence we're running a public playtest of the game. You can participate in the playtest and have an early look at the game right now!The playtest will likely run for one to two weeks. The usual caveats apply - this is an early build which is both incomplete and may still have issues.
