- RadCity X Anshar Publishing - 9 September 2026
Hello friends,Happy to announce that RadCity: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure now has a publisher: Anshar Publishing from Poland! 😍What this means for the game's future - a ton of support for marketing, QA, testing, promotion and more, as well as making it possible to have localizations and a fully fledged soundtrack for the game's release. This ticks all of the boxes related to must-have content and the unique vision planned!I am more than thrilled to have such help for RadCity☢️, from an especially experienced publisher with a great catalog of games, and I feel great about the direction the project is heading, reaching its full potential and delivering a great experience on release. About Anshar PublishingHi! Here’s Jakub from Anshar Publishing. We’re a small team of people who really, really love games — and we’re not here to pump out as many titles as possible. If we work on a game, i…
- August Update - 1 August 2026
Hello friends, here's what's new in August for RadCity: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure!Content is about 80% complete. New completed areas are the CET power plant, the railway roundhouse, the bus garage and more. The only big locations left are the subway tunnels and train station (in the last third of the game). There are some side missions left to implement, but at this point the first 2/3 of the game are entering final polishing phase. Also there's only a few dozens assets left on the list, including final character models for NPCs.The final trailer is in the works, showcasing most areas in the game. Meanwhile, revamped capsule art with (hopefully) final version, that best communicates the atmospheric, exploration aspect of this game, its visuals and vibe. RadCity is a visual treat full of industrial rust, grit and radiation. Also updated all texts and descriptions on the steam page to…
- June Update - 1 June 2026
Hello friends, here are some new updates for June in the development of RadCity: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure! Most development time is now spent on creating content - art, locations, polishing, adding missions, testing, retesting. Gameplay wise a lot of systems are basically done, like interactions or the menu (now with save slots, character selection, controls) and a lot of code has been optimized. Movement has been reworked (again) and simplified. You can see where you can and can't move, what you can interact with, and where you can climb, and all with a single click (in CRPG fashion). WASD is still available, as well as hold-click in "manual" mode. Basic controller support is being implemented.Interactable items have a much higher, adjustable range where they are highlighted - no need to hunt for small items, now they're easier to spot. The game has also been nominated to the romania…
- April Update - 1 April 2026
Here's what's new for april on developing RadCity: A Post-Apocalyptic Adventure. After adding WASD support, the hold-click to move has been reworked to use pathfinding. No more falling off bridges!Another big complaint in the demo was the camera - tall buildings obscured the view. Now the game uses an occlusion mask to fade out the biggest view obstacles. Also added are clearer visual markers for climbing and a new system for highlighting objects is in the works, making it easier to find them (and should work well with controller support later).Meanwhile, the rest of the world is in progress. After crossing the railway bridge the game opens up with a ton of cool stuff to explore. Here is a screenshot of the train triage area. The rest of the locations in the game are in various stages of completion. Most side missions are planned, written and being implemented.A big takeaway from Next Fes…

First of all, thank you to everyone that played the demo so far and provided extremely valuable feedback! With your help the demo (and the rest of the game) received a number of updates and fixes including:standard WASD movementreworked jumping and climbing with a visual marker (so objects you can climb are clearly marked and you won't miss any jumps)camera tweaksre-organized tutorials for clarityadjusted animation speedsfixed a number of bugsThe demo will take part of NEXT FEST, however after the event it will be disabled so all development efforts continue for the rest of the game. The demo was just a snapshot of the starting area that has already went through many changes and it has diverged from the final game. There's still a number of things to add and progress is underway, and the control will continue to be refined. Thanks for trying this game, babadokia
