You might have played as the Witch in Cooking Witch before and wondered what she was up to before she started cooking children. (Nothing good—it involved, among other things, kidnapping innocent animals.)This is a very old game—one of the first I ever made. Most of it has been left untouched, with all of its original flaws and jankiness preserved for nostalgia's sake.The only modern additions are Steam achievements and two unlockable rewards for completing the game quickly: the Speed Cap and the Jump Cape.The game is extremely short, free to play, and can be completed in one sitting (in under 5 minutes). Hi everybody! 🐵 I’ve just launched the Steam store page for Coco Block, and the demo is available to play right now! This was a small side project I made about 10 years ago. Coco Block is a very simple, arcade-style game where coconuts fall from above and you need to block them before they hit your monkeys — while letting the monkeys eat the bananas for points, combos, and higher scores. 🥥 The game will be completely free, and the demo gives you the full experience (including some quick and easy achievements, if that’s your thing, which will carry over to the full release). I mainly wanted to get the page and demo out there so people can try it. - New Teaser Trailer for No Life - 28 October 2024
Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː As stated in my previous post, No Life is still in development, perhaps too early to be shown properly, but I still wanted to put out a short teaser trailer with some small action from the game. You can now see the teaser on the No Life Steam store page! Currently, the teaser only shows one weapon (the pistol) and one zombie type (the normal slow one), but I actually have four weapons and about eight different zombie types in the game currently. However, I need to create proper graphics and polish them up before I can show them, which I hope to do in the next teaser. I am also working on the dog companion. ːPdogː I plan to have a playtest and then a demo for the game later on to gather feedback and ideas. - Announcing my new game and more things to come! - 14 October 2024
Hi everybody! ːPhhelperː I don't have a regular "devblog" but I wanted to share some news on what I am working on next and also some notes on the future. I just recently updated the store page for my next game "No Life" which will be a survival roguelite with zombies and will be a departure in terms of being a bit (lot) more gruesome than my other games.. (though the zombies are still quite cute in their own way). You will also be able to have a dog companion in the game! ːPdogː Keep in mind that what is shown so far is still very early and unfinished but I wanted to put the page up to be able to gather wishlists during the development. - Status Update on Plantera 2 - 16 February 2022
Hi everybody. ːPhelperː I just wanted to make a quick status update since I know that it was a long time since the last announcement on the progress of Plantera 2. The reason for not having a new announcement in a long time is that the game is feature complete so there have not really been anything "new and exciting" to report :) Right now I am basically doing runs of the game to see that everything is as I want it to be and as polished as I can make it before sending it out for bug testing. The last "run" I did I did find some things that I wanted to change so that is basically what I am doing now. One of the thing was implementing a "Tool Tip" that appears over buttons etc to better explain what they do. The other one was to make outlines on everything when you mouse over items when you select things to Move and Trash. This was quite time consuming though since I have to create outlin…
- Water Decorations in Plantera 2 - 9 July 2021
⠀⠀⠀⠀ Was focusing on trying to do the important but boring and time consuming work of ironing out bugs and balancing for Plantera 2 release and noticed the water looked kind of bare even with the fish and dolphins in it so could not resist going on one of my regular less important tangent to add some water decorations. As with other decorations in the game they give Deco Points which is more important than regular Coins in the later game stage.
