  Today we're excited to share our official reveal trailer for DIEATHLON!! DIEATHLON is a fast-paced first-person action game where you race down dangerous mountain slopes armed with nothing but your reflexes and a shotgun. Blast through obstacles, battle monstrous creatures, and choose between branching routes filled with deadly hazards. We're also happy to announce that Loopr Partners has joined the project as our publisher! We're looking forward to working together as we continue development and prepare for launch. • Gameplay Overhaul Update - 30 June 2026

  This patch brings a ton of changes! Some big, some small.First up, we've added a Perk System. After every level, you'll be able to choose an upgrade to increase your survivability. Perks are randomized, so every run offers a different selection of upgrades. You might find skis with better handling or higher top speed, a shotgun with increased range and tighter spread, or upgrades that improve your new Boost ability.Speaking of which...Boost has been added to the game! Shoot the new boost targets scattered throughout each level to earn consumable boosts that can be activated whenever you need an extra burst of speed. Whether you're trying to shave seconds off your time or recover from a mistake, they're there to help.Targets now play a much bigger role in your run. Instead of your score being based solely on completion time, your final score is now determined by both your run time and th…

• DEMO UPDATE - TREES NERFED - 2 June 2026

  Trees Nerfed!Based on player feedback, tree collisions are now significantly more forgiving. Hitting a single tree will no longer result in an instant death. Instead, you'll collide with the obstacle and continue your run. Crashing into multiple trees in quick succession can still be fatal, so staying on course remains important.The goal of this change is to reduce frustration for new players without fundamentally altering the challenge or flow of the game. Performance ImprovementsThis update also includes a number of minor performance optimizations to help deliver a smoother experience across a wider range of hardware. Adjustable FPS LimitA new FPS limiter has been added to the settings menu, allowing players to choose their preferred maximum frame rate.
