• Difficulty Adjustment and Fixes for Achievement/Dress-Up Issues - 13 March 2026

  We made the following adjustments and fixes: Adjusted the first boss’s attack power from 14 -> 13. Fixed an issue where the “Deprived” achievement could unlock even when only the 5th/6th crew slots were using “Deprived.” -> It now unlocks only when the captain (1st slot) is “Deprived.” Fixed an issue where selecting “Continue” reflected newly changed dress-up settings from the title screen. -> The dress-up state and stats are now correctly restored from the save point. Fixed an issue where selecting “New Game” did not reflect the latest dress-up settings. This game is designed to deliver a high-difficulty experience that is still smooth and satisfying to play solo. However, the current clear rate for the first boss is below 50%, which indicated the opening difficulty was higher than intended, so we adjusted the early-game balance. • Fixed Dress-Up Related Issues - 11 March 2026

  The following issues have been fixed: Fixed an issue where bonus rewards shown with the “Santa” dress-up were not added to the bag when claimed. Fixed an issue where a previously used dress-up image could appear during the new crew recruitment animation. These systems now correctly reflect the current dress-up settings for both reward claiming and recruitment visuals.

• Level 3 Balance Adjustments (Longer Drain Intervals) - 2 March 2026

  In Level 3, we aimed to create gameplay where players feel rewarded for making quick, correct decisions. However, we found that the lack of downtime (such as chances to rest and recover) created too much pressure, so we adjusted several mechanics. Main changes: Auto-drain of Hydration/Hunger now occurs only outside CAMP. Hydration auto-drain interval increased from 2s to 3s. Hunger auto-drain interval increased from 4s to 5s. Mid-boss “Kai Kitsune” HP reduced to 85 (same as Level 2).

• Captain Duck – Release Date Update - 24 February 2026

  Thank you very much for your continued support. We originally planned to release Captain Duck today. However, during final adjustments, we discovered opportunities to make the game even more enjoyable. In order to deliver a better experience, we have decided to delay the release and spend additional time polishing the game. We are currently focusing on the following improvements: - Adding stronger enemy encounters - Adjusting difficulty progression by stage - Final gameplay balance tuning We are aiming for a release within February. • Patch 0.1.3 – Demo Clarity & UI Fixes - 14 February 2026

  Thank you for all the feedback! This update improves tutorial/UI clarity in the demo. Changes: - Clarified cooking tutorial text (removed misleading “fuel” wording). - Added hover guide tooltips for demo-only/unused slots (shown when the slot is empty). - Added clearer messaging that all crew members can equip tools/weapons. - Added “final battle of the demo” notice for the 2nd mini boss encounter. - Fixed localization issue where a reward button could appear in Japanese in English UI. Thanks again to everyone who shared feedback and videos. It helped us improve the demo experience a lot.
