About this game
Long ago during the Prismatic Age, inhabitants of the Canvas thrived in six regions all rich of culture and fervor, their emotions driven by colour. Yet you awake to find the continent swathed in grey, and the mysterious ability to restore colour with every action you take. Explore a world on the brink of apathy, and help the few that remain rediscover joy, anger, sadness, fear, disgust, surprise and everything inbetween. Every environment of this Metroidvania has been hand-drawn, sometimes twice! One haunting and monochrome, the other striking and vibrant. Using a combination of colourful expression and powerful unlockable abilities, you can alter the Canvas in real time and traverse Museful in your own way. Perfect your movement by learning how to dash, grapple, wall climb, and paint-surf your way through various intertwined locations. The Colour Thief looms large, a fearsome figure who wishes the Canvas to remain void of emotion. Use the diverse combat system at your disposal to challenge them and their colour-devouring minions, the Nomochromes. Colour-themed boons and power-ups will let you customise your own fighting style, from devastating melee combos to relentless paint-gun action. Every colour you unleash will affect those around you. Choose carefully as you navigate this non-linear adventure through cozy mountain forests, an ever-burning factory run by robotic spider-cats , a cliffside academy with towers that pierce the clouds, and much more... When all is said and done, will you remember your own true colours?
