• Narrative Update - 30 May 2026

  I expanded the narrative features of Hoop Dungeon and wrote out a little extra for Stan, Casper and Jean. Other ballers are going to get more dialog soon and I have a few more rounds of unlockable moves planned too. The narrative is best if you play a fresh game.I also put in defensive moves for the ballers that did not have one. Now, I believe everyone has their own defense. Tell me which ones you like and do not like. I nerfed Ken as part of this so now he only trash talks you every other turn.I also added the first move pack - phantom moves. These are sets of moves that all share a theme. I have more of these specced out so I will keep adding them to updates. I also added pin modifiers to clear space and muscle out to slow defenders.   - You can now add challenges to the Hoop Dungeon to make it more difficult. The default difficulty has been reduced to support this feature. - Shoes are cheaper. - Move unlock progress is visible in the goals menu - Ken trash talks you less. - Manual for some basic concepts. - New baller: Chunhua - New moves: Controlled Cut and Jump Stop - Defensive ability for Stan - Alice gets a new move - streetball - Layup bug fixed. - Dwaraka no longer boosts teammates. - Defensive ability for Korey

• Playoffs! - 10 April 2026

  Welcome to the playoffs! Now, after beating the boss at the end of the preliminaries, you go into the playoffs featuring only teams with other ballers. Make your way through three rounds of them to come out on top and escape the Hoop Dungeon!Also, welcome three new ballers to the dungeon; Alice, Charles and Korey. All three feature new play quirks and require new ways of navigating each possession.Finally, there are a few new moves to unlock and some updated UI and bugfixes.Have fun and don't forget to leave a review!Thanks,Nikhil Murthy

• Offense Sets - 25 March 2026

  You can now purchase different offensive configurations to start a possession with. Try them out and figure out which ones work best with your builds and your opponents!

• Sneakers - 19 March 2026

  You can now buy sneakers in the store to boost your shot percentage in different areas of the court!I quite like how this feature plays right now. I wanted to put in something to help smooth out the difficulty when a player hits a skill plateau and this has the weight that I wanted. It provides me with the feeling of progress after a good run but doesn't feel like it is necessary to get the right sneakers to win a round. Also, I like how it makes different areas of the court more valuable and so plays well with the rest of the tactics.
