- Patch 0.40.25 - 30 August 2026
Improvements:The quest system has been completely reworked. You can now track the current state of a quest directly in your PDA: for example, how many monsters still need to be eliminated, how many locations have been visited, and which objectives are still incomplete. Previously, only the general quest description was displayed. This should make quest progression much clearer and easier to understand.Minor Fixes and Improvements:Quest №01-19/A, which requires you to clear the perimeter near the base, has now been fully fixed. After the previous update, the quest could only be completed if you entered the location and finished the entire objective in a single visit. Thank you to everyone who supports D.E.C.A.Y. and shares their impressions, feedback, suggestions, and ideas - whether through reviews, the forums, or community discussions. This kind of feedback is genuinely important to me. - D.E.C.A.Y. Is Now Available in Early Access! - 26 August 2026
Today, the day has finally come for D.E.C.A.Y. After more than two years of development, the game is launching in Steam Early Access. It has been a very long journey. Over that time, the project has changed significantly, grown, and become much closer to the game I want it to be. The past few weeks have been especially intense, but the extra time before release has only benefited the game - I was able to improve many systems, add new content and new monsters, and fix a large number of smaller issues.D.E.C.A.Y. is still in Early Access. There is a lot of work ahead, including new locations, mechanics, missions, and improvements. As development continues, some visual materials and banners that currently use generative tools will also be gradually updated. I’ll be paying close attention to your feedback, bug reports, and suggestions.Thank you to everyone who waited for the game, added it to…
- D.E.C.A.Y. has passed Steam review. New release date - August 26! - 21 August 2026
🎉 D.E.C.A.Y. has passed Steam review. New release date - August 26!Friends, I can finally share some good news: D.E.C.A.Y. has successfully passed Steam review, and the Early Access release is now officially scheduled for August 26, 2026.I want to apologize for moving the release from the originally planned date of August 21. Unfortunately, the review process took longer than expected, and because of the delay during moderation, I could no longer guarantee the previously announced release date. But this extra time was not wasted. While the game was under review, I continued working on it: fixing bugs, improving optimization, polishing various mechanics, and adding new content. As a result, the version releasing on August 26 will be noticeably better and more complete than the one I originally planned to release on the 21st.Thank you to everyone who waited, supported the project, and was…

- A.C.C.S. "Atlas" - 30 June 2026
📢 Attention, Operators!Fresh data on the A.C.C.S. "Atlas" system. In D.E.C.A.Y., your work inside the bunker is not limited to simple survival and following directives. You will be responsible for monitoring the A.C.C.S. "Atlas" network - a critical complex that directly affects communication between sectors and safety on the surface."Atlas" does more than connect remote communication nodes. This massive complex maintains the radiation shield and reduces the harmful impact of abnormal solar activity on the outside environment. As long as the network remains stable, humanity still has a chance. But remember: stability is an illusion. If even one node loses power and goes offline, the consequences for the region may become irreversible. You will have to personally venture out onto the scorched surface to service the nodes and perform hot replacement of nuclear batteries. Do not let the syst…
- Character Progression in D.E.C.A.Y. - 22 April 2026
Hello everyone!Work on D.E.C.A.Y. continues, and today I’d like to show another important part of the game — the character progression system. The idea is to give players the freedom to shape their own survival style. You’ll be able to choose perks that enhance different aspects of your character, from weapon handling and endurance to resistance against radiation, chemicals, and other dangers of the Wasteland. It’s important to me that every choice feels meaningful, and that progression isn’t just about increasing numbers. Perks should influence how you play and open up new approaches to survival. The system is still in development, but the overall set of skills is already taking shape, allowing for truly different character builds.I’ve attached a short video where you can see the current progress.
- A New Companion in D.E.C.A.Y. - 6 March 2026
Hello everyone!I’m continuing work on D.E.C.A.Y., and today I’d like to show one of the new ideas — a helper droid that will become the player’s companion. The idea is to make it not just a useful tool, but a more lively and memorable companion. I spent a long time thinking about what kind of companion to add to the game, and in the end I decided to take a different path, moving away from the more common options in favor of a droid.Work is currently ongoing on its behavior and overall concept. I want it to feel like more than just a set of pre-programmed actions, and instead be perceived as a full-fledged companion throughout the journey in the world of D.E.C.A.Y.I’ve attached a short video showing the current development progress.Thank you for following the project!
