It took three years, but Digital Sagas has officially released its first commercial game: Shape Swarm.Shape Swarm was never intended to be a breakout hit or a game that would financially support the studio. Instead, the project was designed as a proof of concept and a way to learn the publishing process from start to finish. - Community Update – Stability & Balance Improvements - 19 January 2026
Hey everyone,Quick update on the demo! We’ve pushed a stability fix for the Web build after identifying a memory issue that could cause crashes during longer runs or heavier late-game scenarios. This has now been resolved and the demo should run much more smoothly, especially as things ramp up.Alongside that, we’ve made enemy evolution balance adjustments to improve the mid-to-late game:Early runs remain fast and approachableHigher-tier enemies now feel more threateningEndgame pressure ramps harder, rewarding stronger builds and smarter positioningIf you played earlier, you should notice smoother performance and a more intense late game.As always, thank you for playing and for the feedback — it genuinely helps shape the game. If you run into anything odd or have thoughts on the balance, feel free to drop a comment.More updates soon 🚀— The Developer
