- We're going to Otakuthon & AdventureX! - 6 August 2026
So it took a few weeks to recover, but we're back from Develop Brighton, and it was a blast. 100s of players descended on Brilliant Indie Treasures and from what we could tell, had a blast trying out Murder Meet CuteDon't worry if you didn't get a chance to try out the demo, we have a few more locations we're gonna be at before the years out.This August 7th, we'll be at Otakuthon in Montreal. It'll just be the demo, but come by and check it out. At the end of August (26th-28th) We'll be in Cologne for Gamescom. We'll be in the indie area, but we'll be out and about with the game. On November 7th & 8th, we'll be in London for AdventureX, as part of their official selection. We're happy to announce the hotly awaited demo for Murder Meet Cute has finally dropped, and it’s dripping with snark, puns and 90s nostalgia. Starting Monday July 13th, you'll be able to play a shortened version of the first day of the game. Chat with your friends on Jabber, talk shit on the conspiracy forum, wrangle customers in your not so polite service voice, and sleuth their machines to find out their secrets... and maybe just uncover a murder mystery...Add the demo to your library and start snarking TODAY!If you do please make sure to give it a review on Steam. We keep threatening you all with a demo, but we tricked you! And instead sent it out to content creators. What you gonna do, cry about it. >=]But seriously, we've sent out this early version of the demo to spy in on streamers like TangoMushi and Thegamingmetalhead to see their reception of it. That's right, Murder Meet Cute will be featured alongside other horror themed titles in the Horror Game Awards summer showcase this June 1st at 7pm BST. What's up nerds, more good news, Murder Meet Cute will now be coming to you in 5 languages on launch. These include:EnglishFrenchSimplified ChineseBrazilian PortugueseRussianThis is possible due to the amazing work of Thiago Mania for Brazilian Portuguese, Ratmir Salimov for Russian and Warlocs for SImplified Chinese. French is being done in house!Don't forget that InterfaceX26 starts on Monday 27th, a steam festival that runs for a week featuring over 150 interface games. Murder Meet Cute has been selected for the showcase on May 2nd, so we'll see you there.
