Hey, it's been a long time. We're very excited to be featured in "The ultimate exploration and celebration of horror in video games." I will be talking about the inception of VR horror, the creation of A Chair in a Room, what I had to consider when Writing The Exorcist: Legion VR and working with highly esteemed (and Oscar winning) licenced IP. It's shaping up to be "Five 60-minute episodes plus 15+ hours of online events, including Q&As with the biggest names in horror gaming." It's genuinely an exciting project to be involved with and we're really looking forward to being able to watch it - except cringing at the bits that I open my mouth! It's been a long time coming so thank you for your patience, we managed to get hold of an Index and have added support for this along with a number of other updates. Added support for Windows Mixed Reality. Added support for Index. Added in SteamVR Controller mapping for Oculus, Vive wands, Index Controllers and WMR. Added in new UI for player controls. Fixes for save system issue. Fixes for black screen at start. RiftS up and running. Fix for unlocking the padlock and mobile phone when using the right hand on Oculus Touch. Investigate the case of the missing woodland girl in the original “A Chair in a Room” short story – now included in the latest update Now with an expanded storyline, full use of the tracked controllers and a room-scale option for further immersion and exploration, this experience, which tells the story of the police investigation of a missing girl, has been totally reimagined and is free to all owners of the full length “Greenwater” game and, at around 10-20 mins long, is a great way to demo VR horror to family and friends. The original “A Chair in a Room” was made over 2 years ago for Oculus DK1 and Google Cardboard to test the potential of horror in VR. It was the great reaction to this that led to the creation of the full length game “A Chair in a Room: Greenwater”.
