About this game
False Testimony is a story driven fantasy detective game focused on interrogation, logic, and deduction. I am a detective . My job is to deal with situations that are convenient to blame on coincidence. Where there is no obvious crime, no confession, and no single place where "everything happened". I visit different locations, talk to people, study the environment, and collect clues. Every conversation gives new information, every place adds details that need to be connected. No one lies outright, but everyone speaks from their own perspective, and I have to separate facts from interpretations. There are no loud revelations or dramatic scenes in this work. The truth emerges gradually - from access, timing, sequences of actions, and small inconsistencies. To reach the right conclusion, I need to understand the full picture: who did it, how it was done, and what the motive was.
