- Opening a public Beta for new updates - 21 September 2026
First off, THANK YOU! The last 72 hours have been WILD!!We've been lucky enough to spend the weekend on Steam's Popular New Releases, and recently hit 200 reviews (with the overall score trending upwards). A huge thank you to everyone who bought and played the game, and an even greater thanks to anyone who shared a review and/or feedback!Public BetaAfter an initial rush of hotfixes to address some Currency QOL and progress balancing, we're ready to start addressing some higher level feedback. However, we don't want to make changes this large without some additional testing first. Moving forward, the Public beta will be where we run tests for all major updates and content additions (yes, there is more to come!!)Please consider joining the JOrbits Discord to get the latest news on betas, and to most easily share your suggestions with us and the community.Beta Access?Right click Crown Siege…
- v1.0.3 - Currency rebalancing - 19 September 2026
We're taking in feedback from every available source! On Day 1 we dropped 2 smaller updates to address some immediate issues, and are now back with something addressing overall balance and progression in a more direct way. As well as a few sprinkles of QOL for some common issues we were seeing.Sleep is desperately needed. After a bit of recharge time, we'll be back at it to dive into some larger rebalancing. We've got a lot of ideas, and have been running test branches in the Discord to work through them. Please come join us there if you'd like to have a say in both these early patches, and longer term content additions!Thank you all for your support and feedback thus far! The game is getting better and better with every update :)BALANCEFire Archers and Pyromancers no longer get ember for kills, but instead when they first set an enemy on fire. So other units stealing the kill don't als…
- Crown Siege v1.0.2_e - 19 September 2026
With this version we've tried to address some issues in the early game. What's new in v1.0.2_e: Lowered the difficulty of the northern swamp levels. The first three cursed levels now award a crown each. The swamp levels no longer apply a movement reduction. Melee units block each other less when attacking, making them more viable. Added a quest indicator to the frog queens location on the map. Fixed an issue where damage numbers would get too big and then roll back to 0.
- Crown Siege v1.0.1_a - 18 September 2026
Your FeedbackHi everyone. Thank you for the feedback so far! We are working on adjusting the balance of the game. We're keeping a very close eye on reviews, Steam discussions and our Discord. It's clear that some players preferred the more linear progression of the demo. Then, even among those who like the new systems, still find they'll need to grind in later levels.Today we jumped from a few dozens playtesters to several thousand (Thank you for that by the way)! The many permutations of upgrade order, level choice, army composition, right down to spawn control all mean this game can be played 1000 different ways. And today has shed a light on how quickly the balance can fall out of whack. We have to apologize for this. Know we are prepared for this to will be an ongoing process! We are taking in as much feedback as possible to better tune the progression. What's new in v1.0.1_a:All unit…

Yet nearly EVERYTHING surrounding that has been expanded and enhanced! You'll be able to see it all for yourself on September 18thMore than just knights and goblinsWhile goblins are still the main foe you'll be contending with, the roster has expanded to include MANY new enemy and player units to put to the testA whole new world to exploreProgress is no longer linear through a preset sequence of levels. You'll now venture out between nodes on a map, pushing into new territories, and earning new resources to upgrade withEarn Crowns and upgrade you armyThe skill tree has seen s…
