  This is the first patch and fixes some minor issues and changes the right mouse button move to ‘go to click’ making it easier to move without having to hold the right mouse button instead of stopping when letting go. keyboard movement is still there but it's not advertised in the controls diagram. Gamepad and mouse movement gives the most fluid control for movement and is the best way to play the game, but I still want to keep keyboard controls for those who prefer it. • Only One is finally out! - 25 August 2026

  Fixing bugs till 10 am this morning and finally hitting the release button. It's been 8 months since I announced releasing Only One on Steam and it's finally out. Fixing old and new bugs, adding new enemies and 2 new bosses plus reworking existing abilities and spending way too long making sure the game supported controllers as well functioning on steamdeck. It's done.Please forgive me if the game still looks a bit dated, it's on an old engine that doesn't get much love and it's what I have to work with. • Only One Steamdeck compatibility - 23 August 2026

  Only One runs great on steam deck! But make sure to run it via protonGo to the game properties on steamdeck and check the 'force the use of specific steam play compatibility tool' currently the default option works fine. Only One will still function without doing this but you will not get any music streaming and there is odd behaviour from the dpad, and on one occasion a user lost his save file.

The biggest thing getting full controller support for the UI and have it working on Steamdeck so the game could be played the way it's intended with a controller. • Only One is coming to steam - 20 January 2026

  After many years of requests Only One is finally coming to steam!Only One on steam will be the full game, no in app purchases and no ads. The game will sell for less than $10 USD2 more enemies and at least one boss is being worked on for both the steam and mobile version. ChangesCurrently the game will have a lower grind than the mobile version (3x more power currency) and the additional characters can be bought with power but will unlock at specific levels.Controller SupportGame controller support is limited to combat only but because it does not currently support other parts of the interface in game it cannot be listed in Steam as supporting controllers.
