About this game
1 short conversation. 27 in-depth, short-story endings. Expect to experience 4 of them, across subtly shifting starting conditions, in one 40 minute playthrough. In a world where Magical power stems from Demonic Possession, an out-of-control Mage is a disaster waiting to happen. Sylvain flees the Alchemical Institute. His old friend Celeste runs after to stop him. What happens beneath the shadow of this old tree will change both their lives forever. You choose what they say. Play as two characters, each with unique personality, history, and secrets Each epilogue is written like a novel chapter, visualized like a visual novel, and narrated like an audiobook Original acoustic guitar soundtrack accompanies the story Celeste has had enough of this nonsense. She’s made peace with being a Mage and living at the Institute. She works hard on her research projects, and she’s proud of what she does. She thinks Sylvain needs to get his head on straight and come home—but she doesn’t yet see the full picture of what’s driving him. Sylvain has his own ideas about life, and has no desire to spend the rest of his years sequestered in a fortress. He’s driven by philosophy and passion, and he wants to assert his freedom, living without apology for the danger his existence brings. He hopes Celeste might do the same. -- How will you guide the conversation? What results will emerge from what you choose? And what secrets will you discover along the way?
