- Update v1.3.3 — The Store Finally Sounds Alive - 22 July 2026
🔊 Audio Overhaul Your staff now actually makes noise while they work — the stocker placing products and hauling boxes, the janitor sweeping, mopping and blasting the fire extinguisher, the cashier ringing customers up item by item, and the security guard throwing hands during raids. Basement machines got a smoother voice: processing hums no longer stutter or cut off harshly as you move around the workshop, machines wind down instead of stopping dead, and finished products audibly tumble out of the chute. Sound now respects the building: what happens upstairs stays (mostly) upstairs. Working in the basement, the store above is a faint murmur instead of playing in your ear — and vice versa. Footsteps and raid chaos still carry through the floor, on purpose. You'll want to know about that. Fires now crackle properly indoors, and a fresh volume balance pass across cleaning tools, the door…
- Goo Deer — v1.3.2 - 19 July 2026
New - Steady Aim — hold your breath while aiming down sights for a steadier shot. Costs stamina, and the key is rebindable in Settings. - Hunter Boots — a one-time purchase at the woods cabin that permanently boosts your movement speed. - Traps now have proper audio — throwing, landing, and picking up all sound like they should. Improvements - Customers and staff walk naturally — fixed sliding, floating feet, and stiff gaits across all NPCs. - Lower memory use and smoother loading: reworked audio import for large sounds and 99 effects, and enabled texture streaming on High and Ultra. - Smaller install — stripped a large amount of unused content from the build. Fixes - Big save-reliability batch: Steam Cloud syncing is now much more robust across machines, failed loads can no longer destroy saved data, and permadeath cleanup is consistent everywhere. - Loading an older save no longer res…
- Patch 1.3.1 — Save protection, stuck-state fixes, and audio polish - 15 July 2026
Patch 1.3.1 is live A quick follow-up to 1.3.0 focused on three things: making sure nothing can hurt your save file, clearing out rare stuck states, and audio fixes. No balance changes in this one — it's all fixes and polish, and existing saves carry over as-is. Your save file A failed save or load can no longer damage or delete your saved game. If anything goes wrong mid-save, the game backs off and keeps your existing data intact. After a game over, that run is now over for real. Fixed several ways a finished run could be brought back — relaunching at just the right moment, restoring an older Steam Cloud copy, or syncing the save onto a second PC. Steam Cloud is more reliable overall: deleting a save while offline now sticks once you reconnect, and the game pulls your latest cloud data down before the main menu. Gameplay fixes Jumping can no longer become permanently unresponsive — th…

Smoother framerates at every quality level. The biggest gains are on Steam Deck and lower-end PCs. Steam Deck: the graphics menu is now a simple two-option choice (Low/High), both tuned to run well on the device. 🪤 Trap Rework Thrown traps now settle naturally and lock in place once they land. No more traps sliding around or ending up somewhere weird after loading a save. Traps can always be picked back up, survive save/load correctly, and can no longer be lost or duplicated, includ…
