- Upstairs Joins the Dark Short Adventures Bundle - 7 August 2026
When I first came across this bundle, I immediately felt that Upstairs would be a great fit, so I reached out to the creators... and they were happy to include it!What I like most is that, even though all three games are very different, they share a similar spirit. They're all short adventures with a dark, slightly odd edge, each with its own unique personality. If you haven't played Upstairs yet, this is a great chance to pick it up alongside two other indie games I'd definitely recommend, all at a better price. And if you already own it, maybe this is the perfect excuse to check out the other games in the bundle.I hope you enjoy this little collection as much as I enjoy being part of it.
- Soundtrack Now Available – For Free! - 10 April 2026
I’m happy to share that the official soundtrack for Upstairs is now available, completely free. This collection includes all the music from the game, created entirely by me… despite not being a musician. - Steam Deck Verified! - 3 April 2026
Upstairs is now Steam Deck Verified!Which means you can now solve a bathroom puzzle from an actual bathroom.
- Upstairs is out now, thank you for the amazing response - 22 March 2026
Hi everyone!Upstairs came out two days ago, and the response has already gone way beyond my expectations. Thanks a lot to everyone who’s played it, and also to those who took the time to share their thoughts. Reading them has been both surreal and very appreciated.I was a bit worried about the tone. The game swings between pretty dark stuff and silly comedy, and I wasn’t sure if that mix would land. Luckily, it seems like you’ve all picked up on the humor exactly as intended, which is honestly a relief. This project started about a year ago as a continuation of Juan Miguel in the City, a small, short game I made in 2020 while learning how to make games. I eventually dropped the idea of making a direct sequel because I wanted Upstairs to be a more self-contained experience. Still, the protagonist from that game shows up at the beginning, he’s the trigger of the story, and sticks around wi…
