• Asset & Game Inspector v1.1.4 Hotfix (Startup Issue Resolved) - 24 February 2026

  This minor update (v1.1.4) is a hotfix addressing a critical startup bug reported in the previous version when launching via Steam. **🐛 Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements** **Fixed an issue where launching the app via Steam would result in an invisible window (running only in the background).** * We overhauled the internal startup sequence to resolve conflicts between the app's GPU acceleration and the Steam Overlay injection, which was causing the UI to silently crash. Additionally, we fixed a timeout issue in the Steam detection process during boot. * The application should now launch consistently and display the interface properly every time you click the "Play" button on Steam. Thank you for your continued feedback as we work to improve the app's stability!

  **Patch Note Description:** In this update (v1.1.3), we've added support for a new 3D format and improved the stability of the previewer based on your feedback. **✨ New Features** * **Added support for `.stl` (Stereolithography) format!** * You can now preview and interactively rotate `.stl` 3D models directly within the right-side Metadata Panel, without needing to open external tools. **🐛 Bug Fixes & Stability Improvements** * Fixed an issue where 3D models would fail to display (or show an error icon) when clicking through multiple 3D files consecutively. * Optimized the loading process for 3D models from local drives. This update brings requested features to the Audio Player and PDF Viewer, along with a critical bug fix for application startup. * Video Playback Support: You can now play video files (MP4, MKV, AVI, etc.) directly within the Audio Player section! * Enhanced PDF Viewer: Added a "Full Screen" button for a better reading experience. * Sidebar Filtering: Document files (TXT, PDF, etc.) can now be properly categorized and filtered in the sidebar. * Fixed an issue where the application would sometimes fail to launch or run as a background process ("zombie process") after the PC had been running for an extended period. You can now read your PDF documents in a large, dedicated window for better visibility. 📂 Document Filtering The Sidebar now supports sub-categories for Documents.
