• Colourful shooty roguelike Gonner2 is out now - 22 October 2020

  Roguelikes! Getcha roguelikes here! It’s a good time to be a fan of permadeath and trial and error. Yesterday, the excellent ScourgeBringer left early access , last week we got Noita , and today the colourful and chaotic platformer Gonner2 launched. I only played snippets of the first game, and it’s as weird and wonderful as it looks. The original Gonner had players travelling through procedurally generated worlds looking for a head armed with nowt but a gun and a backpack. The sequel seems to have pretty similar vibes, and it looks great. (more…)

  In case you haven’t been paying attention; Here’s a bit of news: GONNER2 is releasing all day today!! And that means - RELEASE STREAM. Get out your popcorn and get while the getting’s good, ifkwim… Anyhoo, we have a greenscreens, microphones, cameras and even a small USB fan in front of our lovely host Liam O'Neill which provides a small breeze of air flow that keeps him from overheating from excitement, He will be flanked Rasmus and Gerinda, also from Raw Fury. • A game in celebration! - 21 October 2020

  In 2016, exactly 4 years ago (give or take a week) GoNNER launched with global critical acclaim; ~90% positive reviews on Steam and multiple awards such as IGF - Excellence in Audio, Nordic Game Awards - Best Debut. They said this total triumph could never be repeated. They were wrong!! Today we celebrate the fact that we have another knockout sensation on our hands. The original team behind GoNNER; Ditto, Joar Renolen and Martin Kvale came together, this time around further strengthened by Inna Hansen and Daniel Linssen to churn out even more procedurally generated levels, even more deep chaotic places with sparks of unimaginable colours and crazy bosses. So get ready, GONNER2 is launching tomorrow!

Are you ready for the chaos? Also, while the co-op is local, Steam Remote Play works pretty fantastic - so don't forget that is a great option. Plus, the single-player mode is pretty damn fun too! • GONNER2 is releasing on October 22nd, 2020! - 17 October 2020

  Hey everyone! Prepare to unleash more colour and chaos as the release date is now set and as we didn't want you to have to wait, it will be with you in less than a week! GONNER2 is releasing on October 22nd - official press release will go out at 15:00 CET, but if you are lucky the game might go live a little bit earlier in the day here on Steam! We can't wait for you to play it. And while the game has a local co-op mode, if you use Steam Remote Play you can take the co-op online! Can't wait to see what you all think. We are planning a launch day co-op stream, but will post more news about that next week! The time to lose your head is nearly here!

• New GONNER2 Co-oP Trailer - 21 September 2020

  Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop in and let you know that development is going well and we are getting closer to the finish line. We also just created a super shiny new co-op trailer, which you can watch below. So, yep, we are bringing local co-op to GONNER2 (play with up to 4 people!). It is chaotic and fun and heads will be lost - but at least you get to lose them together. We can't wait to see what you all think of the game.

  GoNNER is getting a sequel that will hop into action in 2020. GONNER2 promises a messy and cute procedurally generated, action-platformer with roguelike elements that will keep you on your toes - now with more of everything, including colour and chaos! If you lose your head over this news, don´t worry – GONNER2 will have plenty of replacement heads ready for you. Altruistic and unexpected hero Ikk is finally back in GONNER2, a story about the strange friendship between Ikk and Death — but this time Death needs Ikk’s help. Her lair has been taken over by a mysterious presence and she needs Ikk to take it down. This is a game for the curious, the brave and the tad bit whimsical. Awaken your inner kid as you get into a sweet flow, flying through levels, shooting everything that moves and pulling off ludicrous, acrobatic destruction. All this while you discover the spooky and chaotic world…

• Gonner2 announced, sequel to a cracking shooty platformer - 13 June 2020

  Splendid shoot-o-platformer Gonner will return later this year with a sequel, imaginatively titled Gonner2 . Look, you don’t need a fancy name when you have a giant monster made of giant eyes and teeth connected by jiggly tendons. Gonner was a good’un so yes, please, more.   A lineup of 41 lesser-known indie darlings, party favourites, curiosities and old favourites have gone on sale this week. “Sure, Nat,” you cry, “you say that, but games go on sale all the time. What’s the big deal?”. Well, dear reader, if you’d give me time to finish, I’d explain that this is a charity sale. For the rest of this week, the big-wigs over at the IGDA Foundation have set up nice little charity fundraising event. Until the end of the One Gamer Fund charity event , 50% of the proceeds from purchasing discounted games will be split between 7 particularly game-centric charities.   Today’s Humble Caffeine Bundle is chock full of very good games for very little money, but a little hard to categorise. United under the banner of Caffeine – a “social broadcasting platform for gaming”, not the life-giving stimulant – there’s eight games here, each one representing a wildly different genre. We’ve got the Metroidy Headlander , platform roguelike Gonner , party game tank shooter Treadnauts, a historical novel adaptation and even a ninja stealth sim all up in here.
