CRASHLAND is a brutal sci-fi action-horror FPS, playable flat-screen or in VR. You’re an intergalactic gladiator fighting to survive on a hostile alien planet until rescue. Combat is fast, vicious and unforgiving -- master your weapons, motion scanner and teleporter to survive. Each mission is a short, intense burst of combat (around 5–10 minutes) against increasingly deadly and bizarre creatures. You will die a lot while you learn what works and what doesn’t. Strategic use of the motion scanner and teleporter is crucial — you need to stay two moves ahead to survive. Teleports are limited, and running out is usually how you end up dead, so you’ll be scanning, repositioning, and making every kill count. To live, you’ll need to master the smart pistol, boomstick, scanner, and teleporter. As you gain XP you can level up and unlock perks that can radically alter how the game plays, letting you build a loadout that fits your style. You’ll face around 100 unique creatures, with each of the 36 missions introducing new threats, such as blood sucking ticks, web spitting spiders, prehistoric terror birds and giant hellworms. Many creatures use procedural animation to help encounters feel visceral and unpredictable, with AI-driven locomotion and dynamic ragdoll behaviour. Missions span biomes like desert, tundra, forest, and mountains, with weather like howling winds, rain, thunderstorms, and snow. Key features: Fast visceral combat against ~100 vicious and deadly creatures. 36 unique missions, each introducing new threats. Satisfyingly meaty gunplay and core gameplay loop. Motion scanner + teleporter gameplay where positioning is everything. 25 weapon powerups that add new firing modes for the pistol and boomstick. 42 perks to unlock, including teleport punch, slow motion, berserker, and auto turrets.
