  The demo for The Plunge Of Sludge has released! Go Try it out! It's freeeeeeeWhat's in this Demo?As stated as last time, the demo includes entire first floor along with 250 items. This is around half of the items that will be included in the full game! Along with this there is an endless mode so your demo play through isn't cut short! I hope you enjoy this small glimpse of the full game and feel free to give any feedback that can applied to the full game!What's Next?I will fix any bugs found in the demo and will continue to work on the full game! It's still coming out this year and we are targeting a Fall 2026 release date! More news on the release date will come eventually but for now we'll leave that up in the air for now.   Surprise! A demo for The Plunge Of Sludge is coming soon! We have hit a point in development where we are more comfortable sharing more stuff about the game to the public so expect more of this soon!What Is A Sludge??Considering this is our first post I think It's a good idea to explain what The Plunge Of Sludge is so you can understand what to expect in the demo! The Plunge Of Sludge is a 2D roguelite where you travel between "floors" and battle enemies. Floors are 4 distinct locations that you need to beat to complete the game with each floor coming with 16 rooms you need to complete and 1 boss fight. Everytime you die you go straight back to floor 1. You can collect items from a pool of over 500+ items that can give you simple stat boosts or change how your game is played, so with the help of luck and game knowledge you must defeat the final boss of the game!What's Going To Be In Thi…
