There are now 4 new modes, including Horizontal Acceleration, as well as hard mode timers for all modes when all difficulty tiers are unlocked! Private and offline lobbies also have full customization, so you can make your own modes based on various lobby options! Want giant blocks and 15 second timers? Go for it!

Mount Your Friends was something of a triumph. You wrestled with fiddly controls to try and and make muscular men stack on top of each other, competing against a friend to see who could get higher while watching lots of physics-enabled dongs wiggle about. It was plain funny, and genuinely tense towards the end of a round. The sequel, Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb, has just got a release date of February 23. As a fan of the first I'm still not fully sold. In the original you had one button for each limb, but here you only control the characters' arms, and their legs just sort of hang their limply. I suppose the idea is to make it easier to get into at the start, although mastering the controls was one of the things I liked best about the first. The original Mount Your Friends is a thing of beauty. It has a bunch of modes, but in its purist form it’s a multiplayer game about getting near naked dudes to climb on top of your friends near naked dudes. Fail to clamber up to the top of the growing flesh mountain in 60 seconds and you’re out, usually to the sound of your mates shouting “waheeeey” as a misplaced swing sends you tumbling down to the bottom. The schlongalicious stack’em up has cast off the chains inherent to a mere two dimensions, and is embracing a full three with its sequel. Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb (good grief) is out on Feb 23rd, and there’s a trailer below. 3D mounting looks like fun, though now I’m wondering what version of Mount Your Friends higher dimensional entities are playing. It's as if Daniel Steger, the designer of Mount Your Friends, saw those overly snug underpants in PUBG and said, "Hold my beer." Mount Your Friends, released in 2014, was a gleefully silly multiplayer game about muscular pinheads clambering over each other in speedos with their physics-enabled wangs wobbling about. It's just had a sequel announced, called Mount Your Friends 3D: A Hard Man is Good to Climb. It looks every bit as ridiculous and, yes, it still has huge flappy wiggling dongs in it. According to the trailer it's coming to Steam in 2018. Can't wait.
