• HOMEWAVE Demo Update is here! - 21 September 2026

  Our demo just got a pretty big update! We’ve been working on making decorating rooms more comfortable, browsing through items easier, and interactions with clients more dynamic. We’ve also added new content, new items, and a bunch of smaller improvements and fixes. A better room editor The room editor has received a major overhaul. You can now use the layer system to precisely control the position of your decorations, move items forward or backward, and keep everything exactly where you want it. We’ve also added Undo and Redo, rearranged the workspace to make it more convenient to use, and made lots of smaller improvements to the decorating process. Improvements to the item catalog Looking for something specific? The catalog should make that a little easier now. Items can now be sorted by mood, and there’s a search function for quickly finding exactly what you need. We’ve also reworked…

• Small Demo Update - 17 June 2026

  Hi decorators! We’ve released a small update for the HOMEWAVE demo. Fixed and improved: Fixed minor issues in character dialogues. Improved item placement in rooms. Improved the UI. Updated German, Chinese, and Japanese localization. We’re also aware of a couple of remaining issues: a name may be duplicated in the order window, and Kiwi Runner may not end correctly if you win while the game window is minimized.   Dear users, The HOMEWAVE demo is now available! 🏠✨ HOMEWAVE is a cozy game about decorating virtual rooms inside a fictional nostalgic operating system, chatting with clients, taking freelance jobs, and exploring a warmer, more personal version of the internet. This demo includes a lot of improvements and new content compared to our recent playtest. Here’s what changed: Improved narrative We have rewritten most of the dialogues to make the characters feel more vivid, distinct, and memorable. The main story has also been expanded. The mysterious hacker storyline now continues a little further in the demo. Room mood system Decorating is now not only about placing the required objects.
