• Time Scale Mechanic Reworked - 8 June 2026

  Hello everyone,I have a big update for the All Dice on Deck that changes one of the game mechanics.I realized that locking the game speed behind a purchasable upgrade wasn't the best idea. Because of that, I decided to remove the Time Scale upgrade from the port shop. Instead, I've added a built-in fast mode that is available to everyone right from the start.Now, whenever dice are rolling, you can press any button to toggle "fast mode" on or off, which runs the game at 2x speed. The game will remember your choice for future rolls, so you just need to set it once and it will stay that way.Since there was an empty spot in the shop after removing the speed upgrade, I added a brand new one in its place. This new upgrade increases the number of gold dice you can find on the islands, which simply means you can earn more gold during your journey.As a solo developer, I'm always looking for ways…

  Hello everyone,I'm back with a small update for the All Dice on Deck demo.I noticed that the core dice-rolling and risk-reward mechanics could use a bit more explanation for new players. To help with that, I decided to add a new companion to the game: a skull that acts as your personal guide. This bony fellow will help you learn the ropes, explain how your ship dice and the island's danger dice work, and give you some context as you sail forward.I also made a small tweak to the core gameplay loop. I added a day limit to your journey. You now have a specific amount of time to reach the Treasure Island. If you don't make it before the days run out, a deadly curse of captain Black Jack will catch up to you.   Hi everyone,I'm the developer behind All Dice on Deck, and I just released a free demo for the game.If you haven't heard of it, it's a small pirate roguelite game based on risk and reward. The gameplay loop is pretty straightforward: you sail from island to island and roll your ship's dice against the island's danger dice. If you survive, you get to roll for treasure.You have to decide if you want to push your luck and go further, or return to the port safely. If your ship sinks, you lose the loot you gathered. Back at the port, you can spend your gold on upgrades, like reinforcing your hull for more health or getting extra dice for your ship.Since I'm a solo indie developer working on this project, your feedback means the world to me.
