A folk tale inspired by true events Dreams on a Pillow is a pseudo-stealth, puzzle adventure game inspired by a Palestinian folk tale set during the 1948 Nakba. Throughout the game you will experience the often untold stories of Palestinian history via Khadra’s dreams, nightmares and the harsh reality o f finding refuge when uprooted from a home that no longer exists. Discover how Khadra's story unfolds You play as Khadra, a young woman born in Al Tantura surrounded by her family’s olive grove. When her town is invaded and a massacre erupts, she is forced to flee her home and leave everything behind, except a pillow. Lead her journey across a land torn apart and experience her story as it shifts between her present escape and a fading memory of her hometown's vivid past that is shadowed by the reality of the Nakba, in what was once a place full of life and light.
