• Update #2: First public playtest is NOW LIVE! - 8 May 2026

The first public playtest for Isle of Elinys has just officially launched! This is a very big moment for me, as it's the first time people that don't love me unconditionally will play the game, and critique it. I'm ready for whatever comes my way, but it is a bit like holding my new baby out for the world to decide whether or not they would like to throw tomatoes at it.ANYWAY, the game is far from complete, there's plenty of jank, but I'm trying to discover if this kind of game has a chance of being something awesome. If you do get a change to play it, keep that in mind. Consider what the game could be, not just what it is right now. But, also of course, feel free to tell me all the things that are wrong with it right now. On that note, if you do want to give feedback, you can do so in a number of places:Right here, in the comments of this postsJoin my discordClick the link to the form…

• Update #1: Getting the game Playtest Ready - 4 May 2026

After four months of trying to figure out how to make a game, programming, testing, breaking, fixing, begging friends and family to try it, Isle of Elinys is ready to be tested by the public. This will be the very first public playtest, so it's very rough around the edges and in desperate need of critical feedback. It's time to find out if this game has potential! If you have some spare time this weekend, sign up for the playtest! We're trying to learn what works about the game in it's current state, and what doesn't. And, most importantly, whether or not the kind of game Isle of Elinys is trying to be is a game that someone like you would want to play in the first place.More updates to come! Buh bye!
