  • Smash Up - Beta Version now available - 3 December 2019

Hey Smash-Up-Ers! We've just put the new beta build of Smash Up live on the beta channel. Going forward it will use your Steam ID for online play and won't request that you sign in to anything. Right now we're trying to just get as much information as we can about what is working and what isn't. So the more you play, the better! If anyone can coordinate online multiplayer games that would be awesome, but simply hammering the game will be of massive use to us here. How to access the beta: To access the beta build please do the following; Go to Steam Go to Library Right click on Smash Up Go to Properties Go to Betas Type in the code smashupbetatest Click on Check Code (don't hit enter as for some mystical reason that closes the properties window) How to tell us what is broke: We have an official Discord for all of our games, and you can talk about Smash Up Digital there too! You can use i…

  • Smash Up Patch - 17/07/18 - 18 July 2018

Hey all, Apologies that this has taken aaaages to come out and also that it's fairly small. We've had a vital crash that Android users have been seeing for some time so it was necessary to patch. This update contains that fix as well as some minor improvements to online lobbies so seeing games on other platforms should be easier to find. Along with the above we will be entering beta for the first DLC pack in a few weeks time - there will be more news to come on that shortly. https://cdn.steampulse.org/steam/asset?u=https%3A%2F%2Fsteamcdn-a.akamaihd.net%2Fsteamcommunity%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fclans%2F26372127%2F5e486a109391087fec9f5cce8d101b451190067c.jpg

  • Patch Notes #7 - Local Multiplayer - 16 December 2016

A fairly small update with some fairly important things in it. Pass and play is now a game feature. Choose which factions the AI uses in local play. Visual improvements so card art isn’t obscured. Instructional text colour is now white to help clarity of available information. Seats shown in game are the only ones in use. Voice chat should now work! Current player chooses which base scores first. (use to work, then bugged, now fixed) Updates to scoring order timing. This is likely to be the last update before the new year as long as nothing major goes wrong. Thank you to everyone that has stopped by during our Early Acess period so far. For all the negative and positive comments the game has improved dramatically and we intend to keep improving the quality to make it as good as it can possibly be for general release. Have a merry Christmas and a solid new year from all of us here at Nom…

  • Patch Notes #5 - 24.11.16 - 24 November 2016

On top of bug fixes and some feature adjustments this update contains the final Starter Pack factions, Tricksters and Wizards, as well as the beginnings of our multiplayer lobby. Online play now allows you to create public and private lobbies, join public and private lobbies and also invite people to either of them. This is the first stages of where we intend to go with the lobbies so you may find issues in trying to use it. We’re confident that if you want to find a random game or have a game with your friends then you should be able to do that with relative ease but if you try to break lobby system, chances are you’re gonna break the lobby system. With the core functionality built for all of the starting factions this should allow us more time to clean up the bugs, polish the features and dedicate some time to creating a stable online player experience. Thank you to everyone who has c…

  • Patch Notes #4 – 09.11.16 - 10 November 2016

Where to start? Normally I’ll list the fixes for what was broken but we’ve had a huge overhaul for a lot of the core logic that is used in the game. These areas were primarily Targeting, Controlling and Affecting – i.e. the majority of everything that is done in the game. For every single thing that could go wrong with a card, we were fixing them all one by one. We’ve now built a foundation for the variety of ways you can target and control and select so if a Trickster has similar functionality to a Star Roamer then they’ll both work in the same way or go wrong in the same way and subsequently will only take 1 fix as opposed to two. The above has also allowed for the streamlining of certain abilities – cards that need to be selected, confirmed to be used, a target to then be selected and then another confirmation just to be certain should see a few of those steps removed in a way that i…

Short description

Smash Up is the digital adaptation of the award-winning (and totally awesome) card game. Smash together two factions, and destroy your opponent with a wild and wacky combination of pirates, nerds, zombies, wizards and more!

About this game

Smash Up is the award-winning shufflebuilding card game designed by Paul Peterson, now available in a beautiful digital adaptation so you can play against friends and foes all over the world. In Smash Up, players draft two faction decks from their choice of pirates, ninjas, robots, zombies, and more, and combine them to create an unstoppable deck! Your goal is to conquer bases, while stopping your opponents from doing the same. Each faction has distinct abilities and ways of playing, meaning that Wizards and Robots will aim to conquer bases in a different way that Wizards and Ninjas would! Can your alliance be the first to smash your way to 15 points and win the game?! Aliens love to mess with people and move things around. You may see your minions jumping back into your hand or the bases in play being replaced with a new one… After all it’s not their planet they’re messing with! Dinosaurs are huge. And have an enormous amount of power. Plus someone gave them lasers… Who gave them lasers?! They’re not a force to be reckoned with! If you want powerful minions in your alliance, the dinosaurs are the way to go. Geeks are, well… Geeks! Slightly eccentric individuals with intellectual pursuits! They can also be thoughtful and tricky! You may also spot a couple of famous Geeks’ in there, so keep your nerdy eyes peeled! If you’re sneaky and fast, the Ninjas faction is probably the right one for you. Without ever being seen, Ninjas are the ones who focus on destroying your opponents minions and can pull out sly and surprising moves! Swashbuckle your way into every base on the board. Pirates aren’t known for their pleasantries, and in Smash Up they’re no different. If your opponent has a minion on a base, walk over there and tell that landlubber to walk the plank. We all knew it was only a matter of time before the Robots learnt how to do things better than us… and they’re looking to terminate! They’ve learnt how to churn out highly specialized bots that can overwhelm your opponent quickly in a single turn! Tricksters steal things, hide things, swap things and who knows what else! The best thing though? They can stop your opponents things. Make your opponents regret…

Price History Overview

USD uses SteamPulse's own locally recorded daily store snapshots, so this overview reflects the exact regional price history that SteamPulse has captured for this currency.

Coverage And Tracking Window

  • Snapshots: 1
  • Coverage: Oct 8, 2026 to Oct 8, 2026
  • Lowest observed: $1.74
  • Highest observed: $1.74

Smash Up's USD price history spans from Oct 8, 2026 to Oct 8, 2026, with 1 recorded snapshot across 1 calendar day. Each row records the available final price, listed base price, and discount metadata for that observation. Within this coverage the lowest recorded price is $1.74, the highest is $1.74, and the first visible tracked price is $1.74. These comparisons apply only to the snapshots SteamPulse holds; missing observations can contain changes that are not represented here.

For USD, SteamPulse uses locally captured regional storefront snapshots and does not reconstruct older prices with exchange-rate conversion. The chart and table show the values recorded for this exact currency from the stated coverage start. Additional snapshots extend that record, but they do not fill unobserved days or prove what the storefront displayed between observations.

Discount Windows And Sale Timing

  • Discount windows: 1
  • Discounted days: 1 day
  • Deepest markdown: -75%
  • Latest sale window: Oct 8, 2026 to Oct 8, 2026

SteamPulse has grouped rows carrying discount metadata into 1 recorded discount window, covering 1 calendar day and 1 discounted snapshot. The deepest recorded markdown is -75%, with a lowest recorded final price of $1.74 during rows named Steam sale. The latest recorded window starts Oct 8, 2026 and ends Oct 8, 2026, spanning 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking. Window boundaries follow the available snapshots, so gaps in coverage can make an actual sale shorter or longer than the recorded span.

Recorded sale names include Steam sale. The table reports the observed markdown, final price, snapshot dates, and any sale name supplied with the row. It can show whether similar discounts recur in the retained record, but it does not infer publisher intent, demand, or the reason a price changed.

Observed Price Changes And Stable Runs

  • Observed price drops: 0
  • Observed price rises: 0
  • Longest stable run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking
  • Current run: 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking

Outside rows carrying discount metadata, the tracked price has not recorded a separate price rise or drop yet. That means the observed undiscounted level has stayed stable across the snapshots SteamPulse currently holds. This is a statement about the recorded coverage only; it does not prove that an older or missing price change never happened.

The longest unchanged price stretch in the current record lasts 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking at $1.74, from Oct 8, 2026 through Oct 8, 2026. The latest run records $1.74 for 1 day of uninterrupted daily tracking with a listed discount from $6.99. Run lengths describe consecutive stored observations only and do not establish that a price is permanent.

Latest Snapshot And Sales Context

  • Current price: $1.74
  • Current list price: $6.99
  • Distinct observed prices: 1
  • Source mode: SteamPulse local tracking

The latest tracked snapshot records Smash Up at $1.74 in USD, with a listed base price of $6.99 and a -75% markdown. Across the available history SteamPulse has recorded 1 distinct final price in this currency. This supports comparisons with the lowest, highest, and most common values present in the retained record, subject to the stated coverage limits.

The live sales view and Steam sales record provide calendar context for these dates. A date overlap can be compared with a named Steam event, but it does not prove why a publisher changed a price. As new daily rows arrive, this overview recalculates its observed prices, discount windows, and run lengths automatically.
