  Hello! I'm just popping by real quick to give you all an update on how development is going.I've recently been working on a way to solve something which, potentially, could've turned into an issue. Let's say you're playing through the game, and suddenly you reach a puzzle you just can't beat no matter how hard you try. And if that happens... what, the game's suddenly over, since you can't go on to the next level? That kinda sucks, right?At the same time, if there was a way to just skip levels, that would solve it, but then it might create an incentive to skip any level that's mildly challenging, and you might miss some levels that act as tutorials for later parts of the game.So, how do we make it so that the game is still challenging, but doesn't put up unintentional walls to progress? You and I are probably thinking the same thing as me: add a city, a commune and a small town guarding…

• Demo: Housekeeping update - 26 July 2026

  Hello, everyone! I've updated the Moonlit Dreams demo. Mostly, this brings it to parity with the full version (which I'm still working hard at!), and solidifies some things which, at the time of making the demo, were still up in the air.Changes:Added a new option to the controller settings. You can now adjust the joystick's deadzone, which should be useful for cases where movement feels unresponsive.Some internal changes to how save files are handled to accommodate future plans. This MIGHT have broken your save file, in which case I apologise. I promise there won't be any breaking changes in the future.Added a new visual effect when swapping dimensions (affected by the "reduce visual effects intensity" option).This only applies when you're the one doing it (i.e. not when you step on a teleporter), at least for now. So in the demo, you can only see it in the final room...Added a new butt…

  Hello again, everyone! I just have some quick news for now.The demo isn't going away just yet!The Cerebral Puzzle Showcase was an absolute joy. I'm extremely glad I got to show youse a little piece of this game I've been working on, and I'm here to let y'all know I'm doing it again!I didn't realise these were so close together, but since they are, the Moonlit Dreams demo will be available during the June Steam Next Fest!   Hello, hello, hello, everybody! This is the first Steam post I'm making for Moonlit Dreams, and what wonderful news do I have to start things off.A demo will be available soon!I am overjoyed to announce that Moonlit Dreams will have a demo available at the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase event, hosted by Draknek & Friends! This event has been running since 2022, right here on Steam, hosting discounts for games like Baba is You and Patrick's Parabox, as well as demos for games like A Little to the Left. Needless to say, it is a massive honour to have Moonlit Dreams among these and many, MANY other fantastic puzzle games.From May 28th at 10AM PT to June 4th at 10AM PT (that's two weeks from when I'm posting this), you'll be able to play a demo for Moonlit Dreams.
