• New update and plans for the future! - 4 August 2026

Hello everyone!Support for Hard Truck 2 continues, and we're excited to bring you a new update! This time the cargo is small, but useful nonetheless. We're adding Steam Cloud support so you no longer have to worry about losing your progress when moving between devices. We've also fixed issues in the logic behind several achievements that allowed them to be broken or unlocked in some rather interesting ways. And this is only one stop on our current route. At the same time, we're working on a whole range of features planned for future updates. Because of the game's age, adding anything new has become a non-trivial task that requires a very creative approach. Nevertheless, there's a good chance you can expect the following in upcoming updates:Steam Workshop support. An FPS limiter to prevent the game from breaking under the hood when running on modern graphics cards.A new graphics configurati…

• Update and the message from Fulqrum - 26 June 2026

Hi everyone! Today, we are releasing an update to a game made in the year 2000. In it, we fix the first two problems we were able to address - cutscenes and achievements. Both of those should now work properly on any platform, be it your PC or Steam Deck. At the same time, we continue to troubleshoot other bugs that players are encountering right now. We would also like to say a few words about how we ended up in this situation in the first place. The main idea is to preserve and make available an old but still beloved classic in its original form. We certainly expected interest from players, but the response turned out to be far greater than we could have ever anticipated.A huge thank you for that. This result once again shows how important it is to preserve and support classic games even after so many years. That’s why we ask for a little more patience if your particular issue was not r…

• Hard Truck 2: King of the Road Steam Release! - 24 June 2026

Legendary Hard Truck II has arrived! The classic truck driving simulator is now available on Steam, with the biggest and the baddest trucks at your disposal. Competition with other drivers, which can become outright dangerous at times, the economy of your contracts and budget, and, of course, the omnipresent police who wait for you to make any wrong move. These are the elements that could become your friends (or foes, tbh) in your pursuit of profit. And, to make things not only nostalgic but also interesting, we’ve added 19 achievements to the game.To celebrate the release, the game will be on a 40% discount for the first two weeks. So don’t miss out on a chance to add this gem of a classic to your collection!
