• Development Update & Prologue Rework - 20 September 2026

  Hello everyone, Development of Deadset Darling is progressing as planned. While working on new scenes, I took another look at the prologue and realized that it no longer fully reflected the game’s current visual identity and quality. Since I first created the prologue, my approach to scene design, lighting, camera work, character presentation, and animation has improved significantly. The overall structure of the story and the journeys of its characters have also become much clearer over time. For this reason, I decided to update the opening of the game both visually and narratively.   Development Update — Episode 2 Part 1 CompleteHello everyone,It has been a while since I last posted a development update on Steam, so I wanted to share some news about the current state of Deadset Darling and the major changes I have made to the game recently.I have completed the first part of Episode 2.Episode 2 will be considerably longer and more extensive than the previous episode. Development of new content slowed down for a while because I was also making significant changes to the game’s core systems. • Development Update #4: Main Cast Complete - 5 July 2026

  Hey everyone,I wanted to share a new Deadset Darling development update.Episode 2 production is still moving forward. Alongside scene work, I have also been finishing the remaining characters in the main cast. I previously mentioned that Deadset Darling would have a main cast of 8 characters, and with this dev update, the final two are now complete.This is an important milestone for production.   Hello everyone,I’m happy to share that Episode 1 of Deadset Darling is now complete.Development continues from episode 2 onwards.I'm planning for the game to consist of 5 episodes.   Cast Preview: Ayleen & Chelsea + Episode 1 UpdateHey everyone,I wanted to share a small Episode 1 update and introduce two more characters who appear briefly in the upcoming episode.Episode 1 is now getting close to completion. Most of the episode is already written, rendered, or being prepared for integration into the game. • First Dev Update for Deadset Darling - 18 March 2026

  Hey everyone,Just wanted to make a first proper post here and share a bit of progress on Deadset Darling.This is a solo-developed project, and lately I’ve been spending a lot of time polishing the parts that really shape the overall feel of the game. The prologue is finished, and right now my focus is mostly on menus, UI polish, and sound.A lot of the work at this stage is happening in the smaller details, but those details make a big difference. I want the first release to feel clean, polished, and atmospheric, so that’s where most of my attention is going at the moment.Things are moving forward nicely, and I’ll share more as development continues.Thanks for following the project.
