JACK IN You are a runner loose in hostile cyberspace. Black ICE is closing from every direction. Your trace meter is climbing. The only way out is through. Dead Sector is a cyberpunk roguelike arcade shooter rendered in a 1980's vector aesthetic. Navigate branching node maps across three hostile sectors, each faster and more dangerous than the last. HOW IT WORKS At the end of each node, choose your hacking programs from a randomised pool. STEALTH to halt the trace meter cold. EMP to freeze every ICE on screen. BREACH for a piercing beam, wall to wall. GRAV WELL to pull them all into one place. Pick three active programs from fifteen - choose carefully. Work your way through the node map. Fight through combat arenas, hit random events, and hunt down the sector boss. Survive the Manticore in SECTOR ALPHA. Push deeper into the DEEP NET and face the Archon. Reach THE CORE and destroy the Vortex - if you make it that far.
