  • GameUP 2.2 — Complete the loop, learn from every retest - 28 August 2026

GameUP 2.2 makes the full baseline → Coach → retest → Proof workflow more reliable and easier to understand.Confirmed one-setting retests now improve future local estimates. Your explicit confirmation is the source of truth; a delayed game config file can no longer invalidate what you changed.High-resolution scene thumbnails are more reliable, and debug bundles now verify live metrics, comparison and learning in one end-to-end verdict.Five new Steam game profiles were added: Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, STAR WARS Zero Company, BRIGANDINE ABYSS, 1666: Amsterdam, and METAL GEAR SOLID 4: Guns of the Patriots - Master Collection Version. The public demo keeps its existing 60 FPS and feature locks. GameUP's overlay remains external and read-only, with no game-process access or injection.

  • GameUP 2.1.1 — Five new game profiles - 24 August 2026

Added extended GameUP support for How to Fish, Yet Another Zombie Survivors, Mortal Shell II, After Inc: Revival, and Hearth and Hamlet. Expanded engine-aware discovery and conservative, evidence-qualified performance guidance. Unverified settings remain fail-closed.

  • GameUP 2.1 — Reliable captures, stronger telemetry, explicit comparisons - 18 August 2026

GameUP 2.1 brings together every product change made after 2.06. This is not only a capture hotfix: it is a broad upgrade to performance reasoning, the Coach and retest journey, capture quality, game/configuration coverage, local evidence, the external overlay, hardware telemetry, and release reliability. Smarter performance intelligence Added causal evidence fusion so GameUP can combine compatible process, telemetry, scene, settings, hardware and history signals instead of treating one clue as a conclusion. Added sequential diagnostics that retain the useful state of comparable runs and help distinguish a stable conclusion from a measurement that still needs another test. Added expected-value-of-information ranking for the **next useful test**. GameUP can prioritize a repeat baseline, one setting change, a settings-detection check or a longer stable capture according to the evidence th…

  • GameUP V2.06 - Five new game profiles - 10 August 2026

Added extended GameUP support for Big Walk, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator, ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs, and Sovereign Tower. • GameUP V2.05 adds five new PC game profiles - 3 August 2026

GameUP V2.05 is live in the full app and free 60 FPS demo. Five games now have verified profiles: Halo: Campaign Evolved, Mistfall Hunter, The Relic: First Guardian, Corsair Cove and Kusan: City of Wolves. The Advice Engine uses each profile to prioritize the next setting to test, then asks for the same-scene retest.

  • New guide: diagnose micro-stutter - 2 August 2026

High average FPS can still feel rough when frametimes spike. Our new guide covers 1% lows, same-scene retests and the quickest checks for isolating the cause. Guide: https://gameup.info/micro-stutter-pc-games The free GameUP demo can also guide the same 60 FPS before-and-after workflow.

  • GameUP is 20% off through August 4 - 28 July 2026

GameUP is 20% off through August 4. Start with a repeatable scene: let the Advice Engine prioritize one setting from your game, PC, and measurements, change only that, then replay the same scene. Keep the change only if the retest proves it. The free demo lets you try the 60 FPS measurement loop before buying.

  • Hotfix : fallback icons for windows 10 - 28 July 2026

Added fallback icons for Win10 users

  • Demo quick start: get your first proof in 5 minutes - 27 July 2026

New to the demo? I’d start with one repeatable scene before touching any settings. The quick-start guide gets you from baseline to one Coach recommendation and a retest in about five minutes: open the English guide. If anything feels unclear, tell us where you got stuck.

  • V 2.05 - 27 July 2026

Added extended GameUP support for Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, Disgaea Mayhem, The Mermaid Mask, Teeto, and Storebound. Expanded engine awareness, verified configuration hints, and conservative performance guidance while keeping unverified settings fail-closed.

  • Why average FPS can hide rough gameplay - 26 July 2026

A high average FPS does not guarantee smooth gameplay. 1% lows, frame pacing, and frametime spikes often reveal what the average hides. What to read: • 1% lows: the lower end of the run, where noticeable drops tend to appear. • Frame pacing: how consistently frames actually arrive. • Stutter: spikes and interruptions that can exist beside a healthy average. • Run validity: two results matter only when the scene and workload are comparable. A simple controlled method: 1. Record a baseline on a scene you can replay. 2. Change one setting. 3. Replay the same scene for the same duration. 4. Keep only the change that actually improves the important signals. We have collected 11 practical guides covering 1% lows, stutter, FPS caps, 144/165/240 Hz targets, CS2, and settings snapshots. • GameUP 2.0.4 — Expanded PC Game Support - 22 July 2026

GameUP 2.0.4 closes the release-support gap since launch with extended optimization knowledge for 21 major PC releases and major version launches released since May 15, 2026. What's new Added engine-aware configuration discovery and game-specific performance priorities. Expanded support for ray tracing, upscaling, frame generation, HDR, display modes, and high refresh rates where verified. Added conservative profiles for early-access games whose graphics capabilities are still evolving. Improved Steam identification, engine metadata, configuration paths, and optimization profiles.

  • Changelog V2.03 - 19 July 2026

Performance intelligence added a unified run timeline for process identity, focus, PresentMon telemetry, system pressure, settings snapshots, contamination signals, and protocol provenance added stable-segment metrics, causal A/B and A/B/A comparison, next-best-test selection, and differential file/registry learning for more reliable conclusions Detection and advice expanded engine, install-marker, process, settings-file, registry, and Steam metadata coverage, with confidence-aware evidence fusion instead of single-signal guesses improved settings cache invalidation and snapshot enrichment so recommendations use the values that were actually observed for the current game and run restricted automatic optimization to one certified, reversible change at a time, with exact readback verification, rollback metadata, and measurable retest criteria Overlay, capture, and reliability kept GameUP…

  • V2.02 Capture tool update - 18 July 2026

Updated PresentMon from 2.4.1 to 2.5.1 CPU busy/wait measurements improved thanks to the new PresentMon version

  • Changelog V2.01 - 17 July 2026

Overlay aligned the user-facing overlay flow under the single `GameUP Overlay` name clarified that the overlay is read-only and manual-first: take a settings snapshot, review advice, make changes yourself, then retest or compare polished the external overlay HUD into a compact dashboard with clearer metrics, advice, and hotkey guidance fixed Test page overlay start routing so stale or restored overlay sessions no longer leave Start test doing nothing fixed the overlay F10 retest hotkey on the Test page by handing HUD command polling back to Test page after post-results navigation Results, retest, and compare hardened retest setup so pending scene selections, run memory, and overlay advice reruns survive more edge cases improved compare/result handling for missing latency, duplicate detection, visual manifests, and history runs without stable ids restored History navigation after restart…

  • GameUP V2: One change. Same scene. Proven gain. - 16 July 2026

GameUP V2 rebuilds the optimization workflow around a simple question: did this change actually help on your PC?The new Coach gives you one prioritized recommendation at a time, with the current value, recommended value, expected impact, visual cost, and confidence. Save a repeatable gameplay Scene, apply the change, then retest that same scene. Proof compares the before-and-after run so you can keep an improvement, revert a regression, or continue with the next recommendation. The interface has also been redesigned around three clear areas — Optimize, Benchmark, and Progress — with the detailed diagnostics still available when you need them. What is new:• one prioritized Coach recommendation instead of a wall of advice;• reusable Scenes for meaningful same-scene retests;• clear better, unchanged, or regression verdicts;• keep, revert, and next-advice actions tied to verified results;• a…

  • GameUP Patch Notes - V1.1.2 - 24 June 2026

This update is focused on making GameUP much more reliable for real player benchmarking: better game setting detection, stronger advice, a cleaner overlay workflow, safer retests, better result comparison, and more complete debug bundles. Overlay and retest workflow - Fixed Start test doing nothing when a previous overlay session existed but was no longer runnable. - Fixed a Test page resolver crash that made Start test appear to do nothing. - Fixed F10 Retest from the overlay after returning to the Test page. - Improved overlay session handoff between Results, Advice, and Test pages. - Added safer overlay command availability so Retest only appears when the session can actually retest. - Improved overlay post-run advice review and restart/retest routing. - Hardened overlay certification, OCR discovery, and proof/diagnostic handling. - Improved overlay debug exports so support bundles e…

  • GameUP V1.11 - Overlay polish and guided tuning - 12 June 2026

This update makes GameUP Overlay clearer and more polished. Reworked the overlay around one simple promise: GameUP Overlay is read-only and advisory. Polished the in-game HUD into a clearer GameUP-style dashboard with metrics, advice, and hotkey guidance. Improved settings snapshot guidance so it is easier to capture the Graphics page and understand the next step. Cleaned up wording around manual changes, retest, and comparison so the flow feels better. Kept the overlay safe by design: it does not change settings for you or send gameplay input. Added focused tests for overlay HUD text, command availability, retest routing, and runtime safety paths.
