• Mawgate now has Steam Achievements! - 18 April 2026

  Mawgate has now added Achievements! Whether you're a seasoned achievement hunter or a casual player, these achievements should be lots of fun!We tried adding as many good ones as we could think of. Most of them are tied to progression, such as killing your first monster or finding the save stations. Some are special cases like easter eggs tied to interacting with the environment. Some are challenge runs, like beating the game without healing items! We hope you enjoy this update. This game is a labor of love, and we love hearing your feedback. Don't forget to leave a review! • Hotfix 2 - Mawgate 1.4.4a - 18 April 2026

  Hotfix 2: Added 15 achievements. Fixed an issue where "exit to desktop" could not be pressed in the pause menu. Fixed an issue where ultrawide monitors would stretch certain scenes weirdly. Lengthened the intro warning about intersessional saving. added a warning to the save station about intersessional saving. Rebalanced the bloom.

• Hotfix 1 - Mawgate v1.4.3c - 17 April 2026

  Fixed an issue where the exit buttons in the pause menu could not be pressed. Fixed an issue where memory would sometimes leak and cause crashes. Fixed an issue where killed mimics would be frozen when reentering the room. Fixed an issue where Maria's hurt animation wouldn't trigger. Fixed an issue where a dialogue for finishing the statue puzzle would retrigger upon reentry. Rebalanced the mimics slightly. Adjusted the bloom effects slightly.
