    NewMove order rule explained in How to Play → Pieces. The hidden priority logic is now documented: pieces that move one step in a fixed direction go first, then everything else. Piece shadows — a soft drop-shadow under each piece on the board, lifting them visually off the surface. Toggle in Settings → Visual → Effects. Changed90 degree to you piece description in How to Play → Pieces, rewritten for clarity. "Press up, it goes left. Press right, it goes up...".     New Hints bar correctly defaults to keyboard mode when no gamepad is in use. Previously, virtual gamepad devices from Steam Input or other software could trick the UI into showing controller buttons even when the player wasn't using one. Thanks to the player who reported this. -Colin

  • v0.3.0 - New game piece: it chases you! - 2 May 2026

    NewChaser piece. Hunts you. Each turn it steps one square toward you, closing the bigger gap first. Always moves the direct way — never wraps around the edges (chaser is coloured purple in image) Two new Casual levels. Levels 16 and 17 introduce the chaser piece. Currently in Casual mode only. Move order setting. Choose between Together (default — all enemies move at once) and One at a time (enemies move sequentially, easier to follow how each piece works). Find it under Settings → Gameplay → Move order. Other changes Levels pages framed as preview content from the full game. Various small fixes and polish. Existing progress is preserved. — Colin
