- Flyleap Studios Wrapping Up - 11 June 2022
Developing games has been full of ups and downs over the long years. Unfortunately in the past few years attempting to push on and work by myself in such a competitive field has generally not been good for me. With the reception of my recently games being unexpectedly poor, the income I have been getting from this line of work has stopped being reliable to pay my bills into the future. As such I have found a new career and decided to stop Flyleap Studios. This will mean that all our games will be taken off sale soon. I apologize to anyone who may feel I have failed them and I extend my warm thanks to anyone has enjoyed my games. I wish you all the best and God bless.
- Sequel Released! - FPV Air 2 - 17 August 2018
There's a lot of good reasons to dislike FPV Air Tracks. Well I would like to claim that those are gone in the new sim. You can see the full description on the store page of how exactly we've learnt from our experience and produced something much more useful! https://store.steampowered.com/app/889040/FPV_Air_2/ Please do check it out, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
- Preview of Sequel Available! - 15 March 2018
A sequel to FPV Air Tracks is in development and you can try it out now! The sequel aims to address all the main concerns and feedback I have recieved so far. Here's a list of those and what I have begun in the sequel to address them; Poor performance / compaitbility with lower end machines FPV Air 2 has been made from scratch without all the bloat of textures, models and other assets that make FPV Air Tracks a very large download and slow to run. The squel is very minimal to try and make sure everyone will get excelent performance, even on laptops and other low-end machines. Incompatible radios/gamepads/controllers The input management has been completely re-done and is now based on a much better system which is able to detect and use far more usb input devices than the old one. There should not be any radios or controllers that the game will not support in this new system. Fly-away's,…

- Major Fixes! - 7 July 2017
The engine has been updated significantly, hopefully this has solved all of the "Fatal Error" crash bugs that people were experiencing in the build before this one. So this means the 'Learn to Fly' tutorial tracks should also work again :) +Fixed a bug where the drone's rotors were all facing and spinning the same way. They should now be as in real life.

- Multiplayer network temporarily down - 6 March 2017
For unknown reasons, the multiplayer code which has been working for almost a year has suddenly stopped working. We are working with Steam to sort this out as quickly as possible. In the meantime I have patched the game so that all of the games functionality should not be impeded by the loss of multiplayer the way it was earlier today and yesterday. God willing, the multiplayer will be functional again soon, hang in there

- Add tutorial & fixed flight recording - 2 March 2017
I've just added a Learn to Fly option to the main menu which features a series of training levels. I hope this will help begginers learn how to fly in an easier environment. I've also fixed some major issues in the flight recording code which would have been reventing best lap recordings from saving or loading properly

- 32bit Support being temporarily removed - 28 February 2017
The latest version of FPV Air Tracks has had some bugs that will cause crashing when playing multiplayer, these crashes are caused by some outdated third-party code used to read in controller input to the game. We are replacing this with the newly released equivalent made by Epic Games but currently Epic have not made thier Raw Input plugin work with 32bit builds, so we will not be supporting 32bit platforms untill Epic fix this bug and we are able to upload a new builds supporting both architectures. I hope this doesn't cause too much distress and that Epic games will fix the bug soon.
