• Devlog #2 — Maps, Desert & Sprinkler - 11 May 2026

  Hey! Quick update on what's been going on.All 10 maps from the first grass biome now have their layouts done — which feels great, but there's still a lot of work left. Right now I'm balancing each level's economy (crops, cooking, timing, delivery orders, and cow AI logic), and several maps still need UX improvements before they're ready.On the side, I started working on the desert biome. The first mechanic is in: the sprinkler. It waters crops automatically and keeps them fresh twice as long before harvest. It sounded simple on paper, but getting the timing and range to feel right took a while. Really happy with how it turned out.Next up: more desert mechanics, and getting the map balance to a point I'm actually happy with. Thanks for following along!~Phil

  👋 Hey — Farmastrophy is officially announced! I'm Phil.overflow, a solo indie dev. This is the first devlog for Farmastrophy With Friends — a chaotic co-op farming game built in Godot with pixel art visuals. The concept started simple: farm, deliver, beat the clock. Then I added cows. Then the cows became enemies. Then someone could throw potatoes at them. And here we are. 🐄🥔 🌱 What is the game?
