Happy Lane: The Threshold is a first-person horror game supporting 1-4 player online co-op. Six years ago, a lightning strike buried everything deep within the Dahang Mountains. Now, you and your companions are trapped inside a research facility that officially "never existed." Here, space constantly reconfigures, and every door leads to an unknown chamber. You must make choices based on limited information—but not every choice allows you to survive. A single misjudgment will cause "It" to emerge from the darkness instantly. Some entities cannot be fought; they can only be outsmarted by following the rules. Collaborate with your teammates, decipher clues, and find the sole exit within this shifting architecture. Or, remain in this facility forever. Story Background Six years ago, a disappearance was quietly buried. Six years later, during an ordinary moment after school, the peace of Dayuan Middle School is shattered. The familiar corridors "peel away" before Betty and Hank; space fractures like a broken surface, and without warning, they fall—plummeting into a completely alien world. They find themselves in an underground facility hidden deep in the heart of the Dahang Mountains—cold, sealed, and seemingly erased from history. The complex is filled with rusted gauges, displaced pipes, and flickering lights that blur the line between truth and deception. Every passage leads to the unknown, and every step forward is shadowed by latent danger. Space loses its stability here; structures overlap and shift, causing cracks to appear in both reality and cognition. Faced with this nightmare, Betty begins to wonder—could all of this be connected to that incident six years ago that no one dares to mention? But the answer doesn't matter.
