• Update v0.1.2 just went live! - 16 June 2026

  Update v0.1.2 Patchnotes:- New: Shelfs! You can now sell selfgrown crops in your shop, later there will be new types of products you can produce and sell. You can unlock shelfs at Level 16.- New: You can now customize your character's look! There's a building in the town, where you can interact with the wardrobe to start customizing your character.- Many paint colors were changed to more pleasing and matching colors. - The checkout furniture is now paintable too.- Closing the inventory while a vendor UI is open closes both now. The Esc key does the same.- The Mission Bin UI has now clear readable buttons in the dropdown selection.- You can now hold vendor 'purchase buttons' to purchase multiple items at once.- Fixed multiplayer geckos being huge in hand when switching scenes.Thanks for the support!

• New Patch just released! - 13 June 2026

  Hey! A new patch just went live: Keybinds are now available in the Settings, only for keyboard but we might expand it later to controller binds, if that's something players want (let us know!)The Interaction prompt still keeps the same icon, I will fix this until the next patch.Multiplayer is now working again!The Camera Sensitivity gets now automatically adjusted for Controllers. I've also added a small tutorial step for opening the inventory, and dropping items.Another fix got applied for restoring geckos and eggs, this one was (or is) hard for us to fix because we're not able to replicate it on our end.Some other small things were fixed like the smoke particles and names of NPC's. I've also added a text in the breeder UI to explain that both parents will disappear. And most importantly: Geckos jiggle more now.

• Many new updates! - 13 June 2026

  The first bigger update for GeckoShop 2 is now playable!The Island got slightly expanded, and got more stuff to explore: Harvest Berries from bushes, and Mushrooms from trunks to sell at vendors and make additional money. You can harvest them every 5-10 minutes spent in game. There are plans for the future to give them another purpose rather than only making money. Also: Loot Chests of different rarities will now appear around the map every now and then, that can be opened for coins and occasionally items. We have replaced the overworld buildings with more fitting versions, allowing players to enter them, and us devs to get more creative with the interior design.We will continue to expand the map, and make exploring more fun and rewarding.Rarities are now determined by how many cosmetics a gecko has. This does not change any breeding behaviour, but makes more sense than choosing a rando…

  Hey everyone!We're so excited to finally share with you what we've been working on the last few months.The Demo is finally out, and can be played by everyone for free. You can even play with your friends!The first game is loved by the community, but it had some flaws, thus why we made a sequel. From a little game project to a polished experience.
