Hello everyone! We are very glad to announce that Fossil Echo is now available on Mac & Linux on Steam. We are sorry the port took a little bit longer than expected, we thank you for your patience and we're happy Mac & Linux users finally get a chance to play the game :-) Everything should work fine, but please let us know if you have any issues running the game on Mac or Linux so we can troubleshoot as soon as possible. - Big Update! Easy Mode, Gameplay tweaks, bug fixes... - 5 November 2016
Fossil Echo gets its first major update, adding a new Easy Mode and making the overall experience much smoother. Here are the main changes this update brings: Easy Mode Fossil Echo is a very challenging game, and while some players really like the difficulty, others prefer to enjoy the story and atmosphere without having to work too hard for it. The addition of an Easy Mode lets those players enjoy the story with significantly easier levels (less enemies, longer timing windows...). Note: The Temple levels remain the same, as they are optional challenge levels, we felt that they should remain consistant despite the difficulty setting. Gameplay Tweaks In addition, we made several gameplay tweaks that should enhance the experience. Better wall recognition for wall jumping, better hitboxes, among others, all make for a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay. In addition, we fixed several bugs…

We’re a bit late to mention Fossil Echo , as it actually came out in July, but it’s still summer outside so it’s still topical and we can still enjoy cooing at its sunny stylings. The platformer is replete with desert beaches, temple ruins reclaimed by deep jungle, icy stone towers, and dazzling midnight skies.
