• Next Fest and Steam Demo - 8 September 2026

  Hello all,Oh, how the time flies. We have just under two months before Silly Typing Game is released, and we are approaching a good place for the initial build. If you haven't already, be sure to try the Demo here on Steam and let us know what you think. Balancing a game like this has proven to be quite a fun challenge, but we know it's not perfect. Steam Next Fest is at the end of October and we plan to participate with live streams and gameplay videos. We encourage anyone who is interested to tune in and ask any questions you may have!We have a few planned updates beyond release date. We plan to increase the number of word pools, but to also add additional mechanics and power up interactions.   Hello all, Drake here!I’m the solo dev at Sunfire Games. Silly Typing Game is a typing game I’d be happy for my own son to play: short sessions, clear feedback, and real keyboard practice. At its core it’s simple on purpose: reinforce what you’re good at, then loop back to what’s hard until it sticks.At launch I’m targeting 25+ word packs, with more added regularly after release so the vocabulary keeps growing. Down the line I’m also looking at competitive and cooperative multiplayer. I'll provide more details when they’re ready.If you want a game that’s a little silly but serious about skills, I hope you’ll wishlist. I’ll be sharing more soon.
