Metal Trailer The German Crust Metal band Hellknife releases a new music video in cooperation with the German indie game developer Sebastian de Andrade. Both are living in the area around Mannheim and both are into uncompromising art. While Hellknife is playing hardcore Heavy Metal, the game studio Andrade Games is producing classic shooting games in the style of the 90s arcade machines. The talk had a fine and friendly atmosphere with some inquisitive students and young people who want to become game designers. I told them about the reality of this hard and unforgiving business and that they need a fighter attitude to survive. At the end of my talk I asked: "Who want's to develop games in the future?" and 50% of the people in the room raised their hand. So good job on my side. hopefully they dont develop nasty casual games....

- [Bugfix] Analog stick issue - 15 May 2017
New update (v. 2.3) Some of you had the issue that the plane constantly flies to the left. The new update inludes now a small deadzone which should fix the problem. But i was not able to reproduce the bug in my office - everything works fine with my Xbox 360/One controller. Please give me some feedback if it works now and enjoy blasting some aliens. Changes (v 2.3): - new credits (battle painting by Alex Boca and Brunhild painting by Genzoman) - new deadzone for analog stick

Creating an artwork for a game is a very difficult task. You have to ask yourself, what is the essence of the game. Then you have to communicate it to your painter. Thanks god there are people out there who feel the same fire like me. This masterpiece is made by the Heavy Metal artist Alex Boca. He understands Heavy Metal, he understands Arcade gaming and he understands the beauty of soldiers charging into the plasma fire that will vaporize them. I am so bored by rendered cover artworks, the whole CGI stuff. I am more into the classic approach. Alex told me it was a pleasure for him to paint this battle scene and you see his Herzblut (Heart Blood) in every detail. Yes, it is made digital with a tool called Photoshop, but he didn't used many layers, there are many classic painting techniques that were also used by the old masters. His classic way to produce art fits perfectly my classic…

You are in the role of "Siegfried von Hammerstein" and your mission is to kill all mutants. We aim to release an open beta to get feedback for the new gameplay. Release for the game will be this summer. Stay tuned if you want to spill mutant blood.
