Provisions Are Heaven, Life and Death on a Thread Provisions move before troops. Here, grain is far more than a number — it is the lifeline that can decide an entire campaign. Every soldier and every warhorse consumes supplies in real time, and you must personally plan the routes of your supply convoys, guarding them fiercely against enemy interception. Once your supply lines are cut and granaries run empty, your army will rapidly starve: morale collapses, stamina drains, soldiers begin disobeying orders and fleeing, and an elite force can disintegrate in an instant. You must personally oversee grain allocation, establish military farms, plunder enemy storehouses, and even consider “foraging off the enemy” in desperate straits — the most brutal yet most authentic way to keep your army alive. This unforgiving logistics system forces every commander to calculate every last grain before a campaign. Every expedition is the ultimate test of resource mastery. A Tide of Foes, Seamless Offense and Defense The enemy will never sit idle. They will hurl themselves at your defenses in relentless, endless waves, and AI commanders will even adjust troop compositions and shift the focus of their assault based on losses. Amid the frantic moments between defensive actions, you must direct your soldiers to hold the gates, plug breaches, and withstand wave after wave of all-out, suicidal attack. And once the city is successfully defended, the roles reverse in an instant — you can lead your rested, full-strength army out on the offensive, suppress internal rebellions, wipe out roving bandits, or even launch a long-range raid to strike enemy cities, carrying the war onto their soil and turning the tide from defense to attack. Diverse Troops, Devious Formations You can train distinct troop types such as spearmen, sword-and-shield infantry, archers, crossbowmen, light cavalry, and heavy cavalry.
