  New in Quillhollow 1.0.8 Export your manuscript as a PDF. The export screen now has a Word / PDF switch at the top. Choose PDF to save a page-for-page copy that matches the on-screen preview exactly, with your title page, running headers and page breaks all in place. Handy for beta readers who do not use Word, and for printing. Word export is unchanged. Search now looks inside your cards, not just your scenes. The Search panel has two tabs. Scenes finds text in your manuscript's prose, exactly as before. The new Cards tab finds it in your cards' names, descriptions, notes, tags, pins and issues, grouped by card type. Each tab keeps its own filters and match count, and clicking a card result opens that card's editor. You can now remove a paragraph indent. Tab has always indented the first line of a paragraph, but there was no way back. Shift+Tab now removes the indent, and the alignment…

  — 2026-06-21 Added Outline View: a new "Unplaced" button (top-right) opens a floating shelf listing every structural card with unplaced ones grouped at top. Create cards there, filter by type/placement, search by name or tag, and drag onto the spine. It brightens cards that fit the level you're viewing and dims the rest. Card Editor: build/edit structure from a card's Hierarchy tab. Add child acts/chapters/scenes (search existing or create new), place/re-parent, reorder with up/down arrows, and remove from parent. Numbered for reading order. Works without opening Outline/Plan, so it's in the demo too. Snapshots: granular snapshot restore and improved compare interface.   — 2026-06-15 Fixed Removing a beat from the scene editor is now undoable. Clicking "Remove from editor" on a beat heading can be reversed right away with Ctrl+Z (or the undo button), without having to click back into the text first.
