Spin. Swap. Build an engine that stops needing luck. A complete run of Spin Tactics: three encounters, then a boss. The same Companion roster as the full game, the same shop and gift events, and a board you unlock as you go. A short guided opening teaches the loop, then gets out of the way. From your first real spin you are drawing from over a hundred Companions, and nobody gets the run they planned. What drops is what drops. What you build with it is the game. Gems are how you rig the board. Change a symbol's colour so it finishes a combo it had no business being in, or change its timing so it fires during the spin instead of waiting for the end of the round. Clone a good symbol onto a bad one. Stack Score Gems on something cheap until it stops being cheap. Gems stay on their symbol for the rest of the run. Each round gives you a limited number of Actions, and spinning and swapping both cost one. Spinning always earns something from your Live symbols, but it can break up a combo you had already set up. Saving your last Action for a swap is often worth more than one more spin. Jackpots build as you play and get easier to trigger the longer you last. The Black Hole takes any Companion, symbol or Gem you do not want and pays you for it. The fourth encounter is a boss, and it fights back with challenge skills like Score Drain, which cuts what every symbol produces, or Short-Handed, which takes away spins.
