  PATCH NOTES THE BIG ONE: RECRUITING WAS BROKEN. IT'S FIXED NOW. A bad formula meant every college roster showed 0 open scholarships from Week 1 onward — recruiting was silently unusable for an entire season, for you and every AI team. That's fixed, and there's now a safety net too: if a roster ever comes up short at a position (whether from a season of neglected recruiting, free agency, or the draft), walk-ons and street free agents will fill the gap so you're never staring at an unplayable, QB-less team. NEW: PRO CONTRACTS HAVE TEETH - Contracts now actually expire! (Yes, they didn't before — years-remaining was frozen forever.
